I was searching online for those egg moulds, and I found this thing. Wow.

The principle is similar to the long egg, but this has flowers and hearts and stuff ^_^

Here's a step-by-step guide, the text is in Japanese but the photos are self-explanatory.

Now I want to try this at home. I'm sure I can improvise something.

Yikes. It looks like you cook them in two steps. Once with the mould inside them, and again with the yolk.

It looks too complex for me. I rather use one of the simple egg molds - cook an egg until hard boiled, crack and remove the shell, throw into the mold. Let cool. That's it.

These are the ones I have - www.jbox.com/product/TAM056

I wanted the bunny and bear ones, also, but ended up picking up the fish and car ones because they are a little less "girly".

The long egg thing is an interesting concept, but I like my whole eggs too much to not want to eat them in shell...

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
