astrangeone's bento counter - weird gaijin meal bento.

I got absolutely sick of rice and "asian" food this week. I had pasta in the pantry and a quarter of a jar of salsa. The salsa is really good and strong, like almost eating spicy food. So, I had pasta and salsa with a shot of parmasean cheese on it. Quite good, and I had enough left for a bento.

I'm heading to the local farmer's market tomorrow to seek some fresh food to add to my bento....so wish me luck!

So...on to the bento!

Minutes to Prep: 10, boiled the pasta, and added the cheese and salsa.

Carbohydrates: pasta

Protein: mead soaked steak bites

Fruit: blueberries, orange slices

Veggies: cucumber slices (the end of the veggy!)

Other: N/A...no treats today!

Decorative: flower perler pick.
