Blog entries in 2017.

This year, I have seen an up-rise on low-quality blog entries, even shitposts. I have made this entry to comment on my thoughts about this. These are my thoughts, not yours. Though, you may express your opinion in the comments below.

'Tempers, please, stop shitposting on your blog section. It is not made for this at all, and guests & newcomers will be able to see this, well, unless your blog is private, which is what I see as something rare across the temp, but it is quite frustrating to see someone I'm following and count onto making good-quality blogs do shitposts like, "My serious thoughts" with the description of "lol blah blah blah" and nothing else. If you want to shitpost, move to the EoF. I don't want to see your shitty blog posts on my notifications and recent content tab.

I know I can just ignore the said person, but I still don't agree the misuse of the blog section.

Satirical comments on the entry is fine, as long as the content is good enough with valid points. If you do not feel like your followers want the content, then don't post it. If you don't want people to know you in a certain way from a blog post, then don't post it.

I sincerely apologise if I'm just adding to the mix, but I just feel like expressing my thoughts. Thanks for reading.

Shit posts aren't a form of expression. It's attention whoring. Unfortunately, it works. Anywho. I'm done. Got my card coming tomorrow and I'm too excited now. Rawr.

If you see EoF-material in blog-format please feel free to report it. Just like how we don't welcome shitposts in the rest of the forum we don't want them in blogs either.

I dunno why is so hard for people to use the REPORT BUTTON! If you consider something wrong then report it. Why do people go through the part of including such a thing if no one uses it?

Instead of making a equally contributing post which will inevitably become much of a attraction to what people call here "Shitpost" when you can report it and let mods deal with it how they see fit.

Report button exist for help with quality control. If you feel that someone is misusing or abusing or breaking a rule, report them. Is simple and less problems for you than having to comment on it and making it even worst.:ninja:

Is the same as this.

Spam bot appears > Post spam > reply to post of spam > "DO NOT BUMP SPAM" appears on front page.

All of it can be solved if you just REPORT THE POST, and move on. This is not something people should have to dwell on cause is not our jurisdiction.

You do know that you can set your blog section to "members only," right?

That being said, it's still annoying to people who follow you. I have been guilty of it in the past, though.

It would be nice if we could let some blog posts be open to everyone, and some open to only followers, a selective basis of sorts. But that'd probably just get struck down with a "if you don't want people to see it either don't post it or make it private" response.

Everyone here bitching about this blog and saying to just "report and move on" need to just report and move on. Are we really so petty and childish?
