Call of Duty is being attacked at too much

Over time and time people keep on attacking call of duty saying that it's not very creative, it's boring and all that stuff.
I think that this is poor judgement

You really need to try out the game till you make harsh judgements.
If you play it, it gets intense at times.

The point of the game is very nice.
The point of it is to have you having the feeling of being at war, using much of the same strategies that they used.
It also has great weapon strategy's.
Like in a war an army lost because their gun takes too long to reload, well you may lose a match because of the same fault with that gun.

Having a great time with your friends on cod.
What's more fun then hiding behind a car, waiting to shoot your best friend in the face?

People should think about cod better.
Maybe people will get abit better judgement

Or just lots of paper work and more learning.

I honestly don't see anything special about the CoD series anymore. I have yet to finish the Blops campaign due to how boring I've found the first few chapters. I understand they want to make you feel like you're in war but there's only so many times you can do that. Most situations are the same... The enemy is attacking, you must plant a bomb, defuse a bomb, or hold off the enemy, and then you required to meet up with your team to end the mission.

I've played every CoD game at this point and the series really doesn't seem to be getting any better campaign wise. Multiplayer seems to be okay though with the exception of Blops' lag and hit detection issues.

It's old school, and has antiquated graphics but it's.....wait for it.....fun![/quote]
This. TS:FP is a fragillion times better than COD. I do play cod, it's just way too similar to it's predecessors' for it to be much fun. Although zombies is a blast.

Lol'd at fragillion!
Like I said before cod was awesome back in the day.
The problem is that it takes itself so seriously that now all fps's take themselves seriously.
Where is mah fun?
Oh wait, it's coming....

HAIL TO THE KING BABY!

it's more annoying when people bash games just cause they see a new game coming out .

for example , Battlefield 3 is so much better than CoD:BO . all those comments are an annoyance since they based their whole opinion on a simple trailer . they haven't even tried it out for one , and another problem is that if someone thinks it's bad , they're all going to agree and follow .

i'm not saying everyone is like that , but many of those childish gamers keep on crying about their games . if you don't like the game , then go ahead and buy a new game , it's as simple as that . heck , better yet , don't go buying another game of that series if you're getting that mad at it .

true but knowing that dice has never made a single game that was not good I don't think cod:bo will come close to this game I just love battlefield every single one I played (haven't played bad company 1 though)
the free to play ones are also good for free to play games that is.

Well they keep making new movies and spin-off games of it so it must be good.

From pretty much the accounts of very single veteran over the past gazillion years, the feeling of being in war is not fun.

And the same strategies? I didn't know bum-rushing the enemy while randomly throwing 'nades and having throwing knives as your only weapon is a "strategy".

CoD just doesn't feel like a fun game. It's addictive, but far from fun. Plus they give you such a mediocre single player. Stories are meh and it's like 5 hours long. The game relies way too much on multiplayer.

Every game does. And in my opinion, that's going to be the downfall of video games.

Were the hundreds of side scrolling shoot 'em ups as wildly popular in the 80s as the over-saturated shooter games are now?

That's a bold statement you got there buddy.

I've been playing MW2 for almost 100 hours now and I have to say I really really like it.
It's simple but so effective, I love it.

And one that is easily disproved....
I submit to you:
Mass effect, arkham asylum, bioshock, and deus ex!

I can't say anything about the game really, I can however say that in my opinion it gets incredibly bland...I bought Modern Warfare when it first came out and Ended up playing it for about 3 months before getting bored, Got Modern Warfare2 on day one and still it sits on my desk where its sat since a month after getting it.

People insist that its a great game, and perhaps it is.....I can't prove otherwise......I just honestly get bored with the concept far too quickly for me to justify thinking of it as anything more then a standard FPS.

About multilayer being relied on too much in modern day games.....Bethesda Softworks........I rest my case

At OP: I've played MW1 and MW2. Both are mediocre games taking steam away from games that actually deserve it. They are simply rehashed and reskinned versions of the previous games that requires little to no skill at all. The same could be said about things like, say, Pokemon, or even Megaman. But here's the difference: They constantly bring new stuff that's actually NICE.
