I would say FF Adventure is cryptic to the point of frustration, but you might like it.

I had the most fun with Wario Land 3 and the two LoZ titles.

Actually you should make a youtube channel about this. You dress up as an archaeologist, dig up shit like fossils and than you find the cartridge of that week.

You than spend the rest of the video reviewing the game. But rather as a reviewer you do it as an archaeological perspective, looking at the history of the game and the gameplay from what would be an humorous and yet surreal point of view. You could use the gameboy in the review in question as some sort of archaeological tool. And at the video, you place the cartridge at the "museum" of historical shit you have. Alongside fossils, and vases and other historical shit.

It would be an enjoyable respite to the present nature of retro reviews.

Pokemon Yellow was the first game I ever owned.
Lost it for 2 years and then found it again, got past Giovanni and the Elite 4 after a year (whoops I was like 9) saved outside the Champion's room...then we moved again and I lost it, never to find out who the champion was orz

Crystal is the best game ever. It's the last surviving GB/C era Pokemon game I have left. I lost my copy of Silver and my copy of Yellow broke.

I'd love to "rediscover" my Gameboy Color since it's really an impressive console but unfortunately the games are now uncomfortably in the "collectors" category so I can't pay like quarters for them.

I'll probably just spend my summer "rediscovering" my PS2. I have a pretty decent sum of cash for summer spending and there's still a lot of titles I haven't touched for it.
