My Weekend + 3DS XL

well this weekend i got some nice treats

met some nice people and had loads of fun meeting up with friends

Well first of all playing games
was really good
sure people will know this one

not really my sort of game to play but GF happily took it from me and was like NICE so that kept her busy

then something i had really fun with
3DS XL
was amazed at how good it was
couldn't tell barely any weight difference with my 3DS

the 3DS XL is really nice and the 3D very nice on the eyes
the viewing angle is massive
you can actually place you head on someones shoulder playing it and see the 3D perfect

the one thing noticeable
the 3D slider has no light

but obviously you can tell if the 3D is on or not

the case itself is very nice tho
the buttons being plastic buttons at the bottom was a bit strange but still nice
has a much more DS feel
but i really like it

the screen is massive tho
games look amazing on the bigger screen

the screen scratching problem clearly addressed as the screens have no chance of touching with the new bumpers
so no worries about screen scratching

im sure if you purchase one you wont be disappointed

they the loverly GF's nails
she was having a play at the time while i snapped the photos

light on the corner is the Wifi light
its on the 3DS too but its on the side

the bumpers are center of top screen
and the DSPhat square bumpers
its hard to get a picture as there the same colour as the inside but will try for a pic after work
found a pic online showing it closed tho

the stop screen has no edge to it like the normal 3DS

Did you buy them, or just tried them out? (Since I thought they were only going to be released July 28th and KH on the 20th).

Also, I don't really like the looks of the 3DS XL so far, well, I've always preferred smaller devices, but the look itself just doesn't seem attractive to me, the original 3DS looks real slick, shiny and stuff, I also like the Vita design (although I find it too big, but the design is pretty slick too)... Now for the 3DS XL... Just doesn't seem that pretty imho... But that's me. z.z

Even though it's not a big deal, I'm so glad they removed the depth slider light. It was pointless and annoying. Can't wait to get the XL!

How is the XL screen compared to original? Is it very obvious that the pixel density is quite bad? I feel like getting a XL in December but most of the time it's the pixel density that pushes me off.

How much was it anyway?

How does ds and 3ds games play and look on it? Does the games look
significantly off vs the 3ds? ie.pixel-ed
