Treat your workers with respect

...because in the end you'll look the idiot.

I recently quit working on the farm (for anybody who reads my blogs, doubt you do). Anyways, the boss of the farm had to find some other people to milk the cows. And in short, I quit because I got a new job at the mill and the boss at the farm disrespected me in every way, called me useless, dumb, good for nothing and all that shit. So I quit.

Boss had to go 2 months trying to find other people. He went through 8 people, and the reason is because none of them were as good as me. They either were too afraid of the cows, couldn't learn, or just never showed up for work at all.

I get a call yesterday: "Hey, umm.. yeah... can you come and milk?"

I smiled, because even if the boss hates me, I can always find relief in the fact that hey, when the chips were down, the best milker he had that had quit, was still willing to show up on short notice and milk.

So fuck you boss! You're the bigger idiot.

And the way that I've always described myself when it comes to jobs: I may not be the best worker, I may not be the smartest worker, but I'll take your shit as long as you show me a little respect, and I'll be the most reliable person you can count on. Turns out, it's true and now the boss even knows that.

Seems like he was trying to milk you for all you worth.

Good thing you quit. Staying there another second would have been udder madness.

I hate bosses like that. It's hard to find workers who actually give a shit about the job and know how to do their jobs.

I'd be working in a placement, and I hope to hell that my boss knows that I'm not here to be bitched at!
