the 2DS originally came with 6.0.0-12. anything below that does not have proper support for the 2DS. the home menu is trying to render at 800x240, which is the resolution of the 3DS top screen. it's 400x240 for each eye.

I think mac's idea of doing this on emunand was more sensible

I had to use GW+spider to restore the 9.2 NAND. Shocking that it worked.
