why there is no such thing as "Straight Pride"

simply put, being "straight" has been the "norm" for ages. being heterosexual is accepted in the whole world. you don't see anyone being discriminated against, or kicked out, or whatever for being straight, you see it more often against those in the LGBTQ community.

there is no such thing as "heterophobia", since nobody is against the idea of being straight. since "homophobia" and similar things do exist though, that's why you have gay pride parades and things.

It's just worth noting that unfortunately Tumblr still exist. Even if we wish it didn't.
Life would be so much better for the trans* community if Tumblr would leave us alone.

Is tumblr really that bad? I'm not getting this. I just think so much goes wrong cause people don't know how to handle things, we already have worst problems in thw world and people focus on this one too much adding it to the problem list of struggles that actually need more attention. simply it could be eneded if people just let it, but it won't happen anytime soon.

No, Tumblr isn't that bad. Tumblr is filled with a lot of degenerate inbreeds that should of never been born sure, but it isn't >go on site and you see cancer. That isn't how it works.

'Straight pride' doesn't exist precisely because hetrosexuality isn't an oppressed minority like homosexuality remains, thus any such 'pride' movement would at best be superflous, at worst be an attempt to discredit attempts to achieve greater acceptance for homosexuality in society.

If it makes you feel any better, Tumblr is owned by Yahoo, and the women who owns Tumblr fucked Yahoo so hard that Verizon might not even want to buy it anymore. Tumblr makes Yahoo pretty much no money, so if Verizon buys it, they'll probably scuttle it.

Also, did I mention the Yahoo CEO is being sued by former workers for purging a lot of males from the company? That's Tumblr for ya :D

exactly, @sj33 - tumblr really does not matter to most people in the world. I did not make this post while considering what tumblr may or may not be doing. I think it's irrelevant here considering what others (e.g. entire countries) are doing to LGBTQ people.

Now, if we are talking about LGBT rights in the USA only. LGBT people have almost no problems here compared in Germany or Islam. homosexuals are supported or at the least tolerated. Because anybody to say bad about them is shunned. There are no gay burnings or anythings.
