Got a warning, it's fine though

Veho just gave me a warning for telling someone to commit suicide, and I can see his point.
I'm sorry lol was just kinda pissed at that post in particular, it was one of those "30 and 60 fps are the same" dudes.

Just a question, if anyone can awsner me, I'm the only one able to see the warning level on my posts right?
If other people can see it then that's kind of odd.

I think it's a good thing, I'm tired of seeing people telling others to kill themselves. Especially as a suicide surviver. And if you haven't noticed, it's something the staff here don't tolerate. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but it is an extremely disrespectful thing to say to someone. I'm not pc or anything, but I'm in favor of the staff not tolerating that level of disrespect in a forum populated by young and impressionable people. And since this forum is their business and source of income, they have that right. But don't worry, I've gotten points and a suspension for less. You just ride it out.

Of course there is never a need to tell someone to do that.

I say take the warning labels off of everything and let Darwin's law take its course :evil:

@Thunder Kai If 30 fps = 60 fps then we wouldn't need numbers to denote the difference, would we?
There is indeed a difference. With more modern monitors it's quite noticeable.

Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the US and claims over 40,000 lives each year. Please think before you type stuff like that online, you never know how your words might influence someone.

@Pacheko17 We can accept apologies like this. The only people that see your warning level are you, and the staff of GBAtemp. There's no reason to make it a matter of public record.
We love our members and have no desire to kick people out over trivial things.
So once your warning has aged a while, we'll be happy to remove it.
This isn't a permanent mark on your record.
Hang out with us for a while and it'll be reduced. In fact I love reducing warning levels.

@Vulpes Abnocto My last warning was last May... For the most part, I have now stopped replying to posts at all if my first reaction after reading said post is to roll my eyes or look for a brick wall to bang my head on :blink:

@Vulpes Abnocto I will be staying here :D I've been here for almost 2 years now. I'm not leaving because of a warning that I deserved.
