I thought the blog title saying it's not worth it. I have an ultrawide and I think that's a good alternative to the multiple monitor setup. Small bedroom, very small desk, so it suits me and it's rare I full screen a web browser, sometimes full screen the media player, and the windows are sizable enough.
VLC? Is it popular? I been using this other one that came with a CCCP installation of mkv files and ogg something since it seem like anime is never in some more common format like MP4 or something. Otherwise i just use my adroid with MX player since is godlike,
@Futurdreamz I use K-lite too, what default player? I never had problems with Media Player Classic and MKVs. I haven't updated K-lite in a while, I use VLC on the phone (battery drainer, but I don't know why Snapchat isn't classified as one by my phone, it drains the battery more than VLC), on the PC if somehow MPC+K-lite can't play something.
@Futurdreamz - DAMN lol I was orginally going to buy a really nice desk for 110 USD from amazon. However I went to Walmart that day and found one really close for about 80. Turns out when I got it home it was broken so I had to return it(taking apart and putting together a heavy box takes way too long) then I got a decent replacement.
Yeah, I have one 27 inch monitor and another small 4:3 one off to the side. Really helps if you want to keep two windows in view without having to shrink stuff down and make everything cramped.
I've got an old 19" TV acting as a second monitor at home. Essential when coding. Not enough room on my current desk (nor enough room in my current living space for a bigger desk) to fit a third monitor, though.
So is k-lite better than MPC for those anime MKV and OGB videos? Cause i never tried anything else after installing the CCCP for anime. I still dunno why anything would use MKV or OGB for video playback.
It was that when i started using it that the format is just like putting random stuff into a jar as is basically combining a mutiple video files, audio files, and even subtitle text files into one format, which explains why the files were so huge to begin with. Just it would be easier for everyone if is just MP4 or something. Good think MX player is probably best video player on android.
My middle monitor is a 32" 720P tv. I definately wish I had something a little smaller and higher resolution, but I'm happy that it all fits on my desk.
