Hey everybody I'm back..Banned from NeoGaf

So......
I used to post quite a lot here on GBATemp just a couple of years ago, and I like to think that I've been sometime helpful to newcomers in need, however I've been playing less and less lately, concentrating my ever shrinking gaming time on PC, therefore I barely post anymore.
However I've been lurking around here and NeoGaf just to " keep in the loop " and still keep informed on what's going on in the industry.

Last night I got fed up with NeoGaf because apparently, if you don't hate Trump and Trump supporters ( either of which I don't care about ) you are inherently evil and deserved to be banned !

Like on most gaming forums there is an OFF-Topic subforum on NeoGaf, which is constantly spammed by anti-Trump threads.
Fine, I never posted there, I don't care, I never revealed my political affiliation ( if any ) and so generally I just avoid the off-topic subforum since the stupidity and bias can sometime be overwhelming.
I stick to the "gaming news" forum.

So yesterday somebody posts http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1339269 about Insomniac Games releasing a video in protest of Trump's temporary immigration ban right there in the gaming forum.

I politely stated that such a discussion belongs to the off-topic section. No more, no less.

Needless to say, I've been immediately assaulted by several "members " till I decided to once again "politely " reply the following :

Then I started to wonder how long would it take for the moderators to ban me, and surely enough, as soon I refreshed the page, I got this :

Now, good riddance, I actually couldn't stand some of the whiners there anymore, however being BANNED just for this on a forum that prouds itself for being against oppression, Nazis, censorship and ( ironically ) a BAN on immigration to/from lands that I've never been in and I don't care for and what a President does in his country for which I have no rights to judge, is definitely unjust and highly hypocritical .

So, the hell with the hypocrites NeoGaf elites, I'm back here and I hope we can have some civil discussion in the future.

Hahaha, what a story Mark. I never been to NeoGAF, I seem to always catch negative opinions shared there, at least based on content there shared by the Serebii owner, anti-Nintendo stuff and all that. GBATemp is not the best forum (it's a matter of opinion, at the same time, what can be the best?), but at least it doesn't have such dickish staff that loosely translate rules, seemingly for their own personal gain. Perhaps someone had a vendetta against you just for not being anti-Trump. I hate the bastard, but I don't like going into discussions about it, or politics in general. This is an example of why politics and religion, 9 times out of 10, never pan out well in forum discussion.

Don't know you, but nevertheless, welcome back, I'd say now it's been a calmer environment here.

Im notoriosly know as the most banned person on a forum i joined in 2002. I was a master expert in the feild of small 2 stroke high performance tuning. One of the top 5 in the world. I have a welth of technical info and engine building secrets. Hold a world speed record thats been uncontested for over 5 years now. So i was well respected and held influence and power. Yet im a very blunt person. Dont take shit from peasants who dont know shit and try to prove their right and everyone elses is wrong. I started a fight with a corrupt mod. He broke his own rules. If anyone tried to call him out or go over his head and report him to the admins he would talk shit and kick/ban/delete anyone. Perma ban. Well i went on to ban evade 30+ times. Then i went cyber stalker on his ass. Found his real name address and work. I then made a new ban evader account with his real name. Posted screenshots with his house on google street view. Posted his work number. Posted pics of his photobucket. Of him kissing another man even tho he was married with a kid. I then went to a hax scene site and pretended to be him posted my home site was his forum. The forum started getting ddosed and it had a 7 years outdated vbulletin with no addons or security patches. I did a database root user hack and took controll over a old admin account. I then demodded the dickmod, changed the other admins passwords and left a youtube link from the part of fightclub were they have the politican in a bathroom about to cut off his balls.

@RustInPeace - IMO, GBATemp has the issue of not enforcing the rules unless things get really out of hand. Not saying it's not one of the best gaming fora out there (the only one that I personally would consider better is bay12games forums, but that is Dwarf Fortress specific so... yeah), but it's at least better than most other gaming fora. At least here, you can openly deliver critique on something without someone getting Very Angry at you (most of the time) and the mods are active enough but not to the point of overzealousness when it comes to enforcing the rules.

@th3joker - Is that a copypasta? It reads like a copypasta. If not, you are a horrible person. If it is, where did it come from?

I don't even notice the mods here. I think they do a good job. It is a bit bonkers to ban someone just because they hold different opinions about things not even relevant to the forum's niche, but sadly that seems to be happening to a lot of places. Best you can do is stay out of it as much as possible, and leave when things get bad.

NeoFAG is one of the worst sites around. I am legitimately confused by how it manages to stay around with how trigger happy the mods are to anyone who as even the slightest difference of opinion. When users getting banned over the slightest disagreement is the norm, its clear that the site deserves to die.

@Isaac - I'd say somewhere in between. Some drama has unfolded that the mods took way too long to respond to, but on the other hand, they do deal quickly when posts degrade into a mess.

If u wanna see how infamous i am just say the letters KT in any goped facebook group or goped or hpi baja forum. I see people who have the same writing style as me be wrongfully accused of being me on a alt ban evader account and get permabanned all the time i spooked the other mods. I does boost my ego to know im worse than skankhunt42 and i single handedly double crossed 2 forums to have one kill the other with massive trolling. Ive posed my history before like 6+ months ago along with how i had a under the table job at a mom n pop used game store as a console repairman and modder selling fmcb ps2 mem cards and home made user manuals to use freemcboot. I also did psp cfw installs and tablet rooting services but ill stop now before i go even more off topic.

Exactly, I"d expect at least a warning or a temporary ban for a first time offender ( debatable ), not be banned for life ! Anyway like most posted here, it's not a loss. There is a reason why I have over 2000 posts here and 75 over there, and I stopped being active here around 2009 !

By the way, there was a way to reply to a reply before, I don't see an option anymore....the site has become too modern for my old tired eyes ;)
