My opinion on dlc 1 BOTW

Looks pretty interesting I'm actually looking forward to it especially the sword trials which keeps the master sword at 60 instead of 30. For the Majoras Mask, I'm assuming it gives more damage to monsters or just more item drops. As for the korok, it seems kinda pointless to me since I already have all 900. But it concerns me when it comes to the people who have not yet found all of them because maybe the mask will JUST show you where the korok will appear. It will be accurate for the seeds in which you stay stationary like the pinweels but I can't say the same for the flower trail and the glider seeds when it comes to guiding you in Zelda that can be a problem because I had so much trouble at the time looking for the shrines in an area only to find out that it may be underground. But it leads one to think it's out in the open. So maybe they'll do the same with the mask. The tingle I'm assuming increases prices of stuff you sell or helps find treasure chests who knows.? Hard mode... not really willing to do everything all over again just with minor enemie differences. Plus if you think about it since the enemies get more fierce over time, eventually instead of having black bokoblins in groups it's gonna be silver and who knows maybe there will be gold enemies. they take FOREVER to kill them so you are eventully gonna run out of swords even faster. But over all this is a good addition to the game and I'm looking forward to it!

only thing that would interest me is the sword trials don't give a shit about the fitbit tracker or extra costumes and masks.

I'll wait till Christmas and hopefully by then I'll find a deal to get the Season Pass for cheaper than its retail price. Nintendo is used to sell DLC individually yet for Zelda they only offer a Season Pass.

The sword trials sound interesting as well as HARD as balls.

The extra costumes are a cool touch (although I have all the amiibo based ones now...)

op, you should format your post to make it more readable.

i already bought the season pass day 1

Don't think I'll be picking this up, the price is too steep for such little content added when compared to BOTW as a whole.

BOTW sold for $80 Canadian and gave me 200+ hours of gameplay which is more than what I can ask for in a Zelda game and now they want $30 Canadian for DLC that would likely only add about 10 more hours of gameplay plus features that don't add much to the game if you've already completed it, I think I'll keep my money and wait for the next Zelda game.

Two seasons of DLC would be almost as much as a new Zelda game, I know Nintendo is keeping Zelda fans interested until the next Zelda game comes out whether is be a remaster in a year or two or a brand new game in 3-4 years but the asking price of the DLC is just too much for the content added.

I love zelda games
i generrally pirate games
but for zelda and xenoblade, i will buy all the DLC's of the universe :P

I want a handheld gaming system with a tablet sized screen, like a 8 or10" screen, with controllers that can detach like the Switch.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
@BigOnYa i was legitimately trying to scratch my leg, this is reminding me of that cylinder post
  • Scarlet @ Scarlet:
I don't see the buzz about a square screen personally. I think there will be a review on the site within a few weeks though if you are interested.

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I don't care about the square screen it's just nice to hold something you don't have to stretch your arms a foots length
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
All these things expecting to be super huge is overrated just run a type c cable to your TV if you want a big display or in my case screen mirror it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the go tho I meant, I use my 10" tablet and a Bluetooth controller for retro gaming while sitting on my porch or on long car rides sometimes. Easier on my eyes than the Switch screen.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
My point is we already have enough shit with big displays having something pocketable with up to ps2 would be fine on the go

Ken unless the games are made for that screen size most suck on a screen that size... Having a square screen and being brighter and higher res helps but it's not a cure all, text is tiny bullets are tiny, your.... Well lol
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
