My views on Overwatch

Overwatch free weekend... I decided to play it with my friend who already bought Overwatch like somewhere around 2016/2017.

To make this clear: my main pc has 4GB of RAM.

It was fun, needless to say kinda repetitive. The amount of competitive maps is smaller than TF2's for example.
The amount of deathmatch maps is also pretty small... It seems to repeat after some time, even in quick play.
While I was playing with my friend, it was not this noticeable but If i tried to play alone, it was pretty boring after one hour or so.

What character I liked the most during this "test play" of mine? Mercy and Genji. Genji works more like a flank and Mercy works like a TF2 medic, oh and McCree even though my aim is completely shit.
I played Overwatch at my friend's house so i got used to mechanics.

Believe me or not, his cousin has 264lvl and yet I, as level 4, rekt him 7 times with my friend. Oh boy, the power of teamwork. [hint hint: doesn't exist on quick play since everyone either goes DMG or hanzo /shrug]

Did that free weekend make me want to buy this game? Yeah, but not at this state. As fun as this game is, it lacks maps and simply, more character reworks. This game got out of beta way too fast and it looks like they rushed for no reason. [Features useless nerfs, yay!]
Also, the game doesn't explain the price tag. As gorgeous as this game looks, there's no way i'll spend +$40. [$60 without sales]

The other issue I experienced is the JESUS CHRIST HIGH AS F-memory usage. This game was first to cap 2GB of my RAM memory and then it just began to increase and what does it bring is that my GPU would completely lose focus and just crash Overwatch. This was fixed by enabling that option related to buffering but still, jesus christ...

Currently, I would give this game a strong 6.2/10. As promising as it looks, it simply lacks the most stuff.
Now, if you'll excuse me, i'll go play as medic in TF2. See ya in the next blog post!
[Oh and also, last chapter of Win10 guide will be out tomorrow. I'm in middle of writing it so uh, yeah.]

@GamerzHell9137 well i'm fully aware that the OW's toxicity is huge, fortunately there's magical button named ''MUTE'' :P, AND ALMOST all guys i met are nice, being toxic can't win, stay cool and patient does :D
don't join comp if u have lv25?? well that wasn't my case: i started at season 4 and i only got enough of time to main 1 hero Zarya, after learnt her basics i joined comp as soon as i reached lv25 and i won 9 placements on 10 and i got placed at platinum;
i've never met a single homophobic player atm...i play on EU server.
and i love mercy mains, especially when there's a good mercy main in OUR team! on other team....mmm

There's no place for toxic kid like you in overwatch@ Felek666, pls make us a favour stay away from overwatch

Welp i'm glad you have a positive experience with OW but most people i know didn't have lol
Could be cause they are high LV enough that they've experienced all of its BS lol

@migles
This sums it pretty well

@Felek666 To the Overwatch team's credit, they are developing the game on a completely new engine since the team hasn't worked on anything like this before. Perhaps in another year's time, I'd definitely encourage that you try playing the game again and perhaps the performance will be further improved.

Also @leon315 , I love Overwatch too, and I think your first reply did touch on a couple valid criticisms, but please don't insult people simply because they disagree with something you enjoy.

Overwatch sucks. This opinion is absolute and cannot be argued.

"To make this clear: my main pc has 4GB of RAM."
Buy why? Is it 2008 again?

The game introduces a strong variety of characters, no two characters feel the same (including the snipers because they play different roles).
Some points to make clear
-Finding your character(s) is very important and substantial. You shouldn't feel pressured to have to pick a certain role yet you shouldn't good off. Get familiar with at least 1-2 characters in any role and I bet you your game play experience will expand.

-60 dollar price tag (35-60 depending where you find a copy) is very justifiable. Different game modes have different maps and if you play only one mode you miss out on others. So far the game does nothing but give free updates for maps and characters, none of which anyone has had to pay for and will continue to do this which is amazing.

-character rework. We just got a rework for Mercy recently and some other characters prior. There is always a constant revisions with the characters but that's not always the problem. Learning the way each character plays is really all you need to know so you can counter or play better.

I'm not saying the game is perfect but just some things to keep in mind.

wait you're having issues with overwatch's fps but not tf2's?

bruh i only played overwatch once and that thing ran pretty well on a dual core r7 240 4 gig of ram setup.
I play TF2 all the time and I had to upgrade my pc to an fx-8370, get an r7 370 and get 7 gigs of ram just to play the thing smoothly.
