oh by the way, it's true DMs are outside our authority, if you kept it 100% in direct messages. but you said you would do so on our server, so we treated it as a rule violation.

because it is a piracy tool, simple as that. hiding behind the bullshit excuse of "you can provide your own enctitlekeys" or "i'm not using it for piracy" or similar is a pathetic thinly-veiled attempt to try and help others use what is clearly designed to assist with piracy. it's a game downloader and nearly everyone (if not everyone) who uses freeshop uses it for their free games.

no we will not change our stance on freeshop. go elsewhere if you want to pirate games.

@Altimit Yes, the server that I've been apart of for 7< days. The salt is just, wow. Extreme. Why would I care that I got banned from a server that is known to be full of cancerous staff? That would be taking something personal that's not, well, personal at all.

Not to mention the fact that you said the only reason why links to purchase flashcarts were only posted so people could use them for NTRboot.

You just can't give kids any kind of authority. Otherwise they abuse their power. This is why we can't have nice things.

I was the one who said flashcart discussions were for NTRBoot, not any staff member. Their response to flashcarts was as follows:
"Flashcart use/discussion is fine since you can legally dump your own games and play them off of them"

You have screenshots of me saying that I had to force activate windows ONCE on a licence I legally own, and is in my name, which by the way works flawlessly, as your screenshots even show, You also admitted to DMing a user a way to download an entire DSiWare Pack, which by the way counts as piracy, and the common factor was the server, allowing you do to that would be the same as saying we are ok with piracy as long as you do it behind our backs, which we are not ok with.
So while you try and say you weren't assisting with piracy, you had told users multiple times to use _the eShop Alternative_ to download games illegally, while on the server, all you have done today was try to tell people to pirate so they could do something, sure if you didn't admit or even post a screenshot of your DM, or tell someone you are gonna DM them, we couldn't have done a thing, but instead you openly admitted to breaking rules.

Also, the sites that were linked to to purchase the flashcarts also had links to download nds ROM's, and 3DS ROM's in .cia and .3ds format.

Anything and everything in the 3DS scene is full of salt and anger.

Which is why I find it so entertaining.

@Sonlen1414 Nope, everyone was bitching about how "suspicious" it was that I told another user I'd PM them. I was basically obligated at that point to post proof. Who knows if the user didn't already own every DSiWare title? And no, I didn't post names of warez sites or tools, or direct links.

If you're saying a flashcart may not only be used for piracy, how do you know that he wasn't only download DSiWare for titles that he'd already purchased?

Your authority does not reach past the bounds of the server, so the most you could do was ban me from the server. Thank god the NHD mods have no authority elsewhere. Oh boy.

@dpad_5678 when we released NTRBoot, we knew there would be issues with this exactly. We still chose to make the tool publically available in the cheapest way possible. The best way to do this was through cheap flashcarts. Those flashcarts profit from piracy. It's sad but true. That being said, we made the decision we believed to be the least evil. Linking people to carts that link to piracy sites is guilt by association at worst, I think most of the mods would rather people have cheap access to easy homebrew/cfw that requires breaking a few eggs. Next time you get banned from somewhere, prolly don't go to a forum full of children and call the mods "butthurt", only person who seems to be butthurt here is you.

There are tons of users who discuss piracy in private messages. They are smart enough to not announce it on the server. So nothing happens to them. I also find it funny how people get banned and then come to temp to cry about it, like they won't get called out on their bullshit.

Oh when you make your server for piracy make sure you tell the discord staff about it. I hear they love piracy.

Oh don't forget discord keeps a log of everything you say on it so the actual discord staff can see everything you've done. So they will know if you've broken the terms of service. Hint big fucking hint, piracy is against their tos.
