Field trip

So for our field trip we went to an amusement park called Kings Dominion. I got to ride the intimidator 305, which is the 10th tallest rollercoaster in the world. It's 305 feet tall and goes 93 miles per hour. I also got to go on a ton of other coasters. For example, the Dominator. It was cool because there were like 8 loops. I had a lot of fun. What were some of your favorite field trips?

As far as field trips in which I went to amusement parks, I've gone to both six flags over Georgia and Dollywood. Six Flags is great if you're into coasters, but the park felt a bit trashy to me when compared to Dollywood. Dollywood's a really nice theme park, a decent assortment of different types of rides and tons of shows. Definitely would say I preferred Dollywood, and I'd love to go back again eventually.

Field trip as in school with classmates and teachers and chaperones? O_O

Back in my day, school trips was educational like the zoo, or planetarium or museum or aquarium. :wtf:

@Sonic Angel Knight most of my field trips from elementary school through middle school were like that. We went to the planetarium a ton. However, when I was in high school, we started to shift away from the whole educational field trip idea. Instead we started going to theme parks generally. Off the top of my head, I only can think of 1 educational field trip at my last high school.

At one point, we also went to Hershey Park over in Pennsylvania.

It took like 4 hours for us to get there!
