Triple

My local Mickey D's has introduced the Triple Cheeseburger. That's the end of the service announcement, see y'all in the diabetes clinic.

Here in Italy they're running 2 specials at the same time (giant Crispys* and Mc Selection Italy 2020)

* you won't find the Crispy McBacon in other countries because it's not actually a Mc burger, rather it was invented by Burghy which they bought a couple decades ago

@Ryccardo Reminds me of the Polish "WieśMac", which is our regional burger. Kind of like a Quarter Pounder/McRoyale, but with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion from Polish farms and a healthy dollop of horseradishy, mayo-y, mustard-y sauce. It's not as dry as the standard variety, can recommend.

Despite just eating chicken and chorizo as a second afternoon/evening meal (had some curry prior to that) I still have to say I have zero interest in eating any mcdonalds food, a term I use loosely, at any point in the near or further future.

@FAST6191 More for the rest of us, buddy - you don't know what you're missing. :D Nothing beats a stack of "pound menu" items.

@Foxi4 That makes sense then! Let's enjoy the Triple-Cheez while it lasts! :P
Funny fact, I was in Poland last week and you guys have Jalapeño Cheeseburger in McDees! It's awesome! :D

I do know what I am "missing".
I occasionally get dragged into such places when out and about with others.

Tastes awful, smells worse, goes through me (me being someone that eats curry and chilli all day long if given half a chance) at an alarming speed too.
To that end I just sit and watch and go hungry instead (granted hunger is not really a thing for me -- takes about 4 days before that really sets in, though it is not ideal).

There is plenty of fast food I do like and I do enjoy a good burger and chips, or battered chicken and chips. McDonalds just really is not it.

@FAST6191 Oh wow, that's... Quite a severe reaction. I hope it's just your local restaurants that sucks this bad, I have a KFC like that near me - grease city, they can't cook a chicken to save their life, inedible compared to other KFC's. If you ever happen to go abroad, or to a different county, give it a spin. It totally tastes different depending on where you eat.

I have been all over the UK, much of Europe and the US. The thing about them making the same food everywhere is it is the same food everywhere.

There are certainly some that skimp on changing the fat, that leave things too long, that fail to clean properly and so forth, however unless that is the balance of them (and I do more or less trust the food inspectors) the world over I will be sticking to my assessment. They are at least more edible than subway though, as I have never found anything remotely edible in one of those and can at least have a milkshake or something in mcdonalds if gun to head or something.

It is no great loss to me. Cheaper and tastier food, also immediately edible, is available in the supermarket which is usually right next door to 90% of the ones I go to (the 10% mostly being motorway services), assuming I even need to eat at all (3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food and all that).

YEP, can confirm that even KFC serves triple Cheeseburger too, here in ITALY, tried only once cauz they taste like dogshit.

@FAST6191 I totally understand your point! I've tried fast food in different countries and, as a matter of fact, it's all around the same recipe. That's what they call franchise standardisation! However, I also feel that there's a change you can notice in the quality of the ingredients depending on the country you are. Believe me, I've tasted great food from McDonald's and KFC as much as I've tasted bad. It's all about the ingredients, as the way they do it is pretty much the same. And I'm not even a regular. Just go for it as a last resort or when I'm out of good options in a foreign country I'm not familiar with and need to grab a quick meal. But usually I try to go to places that offer local food and avoid fast food places. :)
