Animated signatures

Just a quick heads-up. Since the most recent reboot of the site, it seems animated signatures are now an option. If you've got an annoying/distracting one, you'll be going on ignore. It's not personal, my eyes just can't tolerate it. We may be friendly acquaintances on the site, but it's gotta happen. Love you all, but wanted to offer this heads-up in advance, so you don't think we had some type of falling out or something.

There have been some distracting animations in signatures before the upgrade.
If I see an animation in a signature it takes me five seconds to advise uBlock Origin to make it disappear.

No idea why such things are allowed in the first place. Reading a thread and trying to concentrate while writing a reply becomes hard to impossible for me when the screen shows some flickering nonsense.

Animated sigs have always been a thing. This isn't a result of the upgrade.

That said we limit sig sizes quite strictly and will also remove any obnoxious animations.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
