My first AK2 theme!

First off, I looked around for a skin topic, but didn't have much luck. Direct me in the right direction if need be.

So for whatever reason, I chose the AK as the first card to make a theme for. From what I've seen, it's not the easiest card to skin. So, after 2 days of learning, photshoping, tweaking, and other such things, this came out:

I'm pretty happy with it. All original stuff, even the background photos. If anyone has any issues with it, or any suggestions, feel free to post about it. Being my first one, I need plenty of feedback about how to go about making these. Also, the preview thing shows some text a bit off, my on my card it displays fine *shrug*.

Very nice Puyo. Not my preferred color palette for some reason (just personal taste, not a critique), but it looks like you did a really good job on it.

Out of curiosity, what is the subject matter of the background photograph? It looks very interesting, but I can't make it out.

Thanks Szy! About the background photo: I used to work at Lenscrafters, and whenever we use polycarbonate lenses, we have to coat the back (we only ever work with the back of lenses) with a hard coating to prevent scratches. The alcohol (to clean) and the coating is collected afterwards, and set aside under a UV lamp to cure so it can be disposed of. Sometimes when it cures, it cracks is weird ways. Hence that picture, it all sort of peeled up. I just altered the colors for the theme.

Oh yea, I can change the colors pretty easily, too. I still have all the .psd files for everything.
