HeartGold/SoulSilver Journal...

Pokewalker: I was giving out some Pokewalker courses, and I got myself the Yellow Forest and Winner's Path ones. (The Japanese ones work with them - the Wondercard itself is in Japanese, but when you pick it up at the Pokemart, it's in English. It's quite cool - I'm on the Yellow Forest now - I hope to catch a Pikachu with surf/fly! I also have the Enigma Crystal - it looks like it gives you Lugia/whatever.

I have Bellsprout on my Pokewalker - on the Yellow Forest path. I still haven't caught anything yet, so I'd have to go for a run on the track tomorrow to increase the watts. (This gives me an excuse to exercise - hooray!) Also, how do you increase the slots for Pokemon...hmm...

Main Game: I'm just up to the second gym. My team as of now: Togepi, Cynadquil, Hoppip (just caught it), and Beedrill. I need/want Espeon badly. I need to level up, my Pokemon are getting owned by wild Pokemon just around the second gym. I love the new Rockets shirts - black and red. (I feel like cosplaying as one of the rockets now...)

No offense sis (I would say bro but you're not a dude), but you're Pokemon team kinda sucks. By the second gym, my Cyndaquil is usually a Quilava. Also, interesting fact, if you headbutt the tree that's next to the upper righthand corner of the Pokemon Center (there's a small alley next to the Center) in Azalea Town, you can get a Heracross. True story. I did it in the Japanese version I practically raped Whitney with Heracross' big horn.

I also usually pack a Pidgey and a Geodude doesn't hurt. Make sure to pick up an Abra at Goldenrod.

Fuck, I sound like such a Pokemon nerd.

My HM slaves are: Bellsprout + Oddish. :tpi: Was the headbutting-trees thing already in the original Gold and Silver version?

Oooh, thanks for that tidbit of information, I could use a Heracross.

Yeah, it was.

And yeah, my Pokemon team does suck. I'd probably take up the suggestion to grab a heracross...(considering that Whitney wiped me out the last time I fought her...in gold and silver).

I don't have many pokemon just because I'm obsessed with the Pokewalker...:D

I usually let mine evolve at 25 - it learns Flame Wheel earlier than Quilava does (only a level), but it learns Lava Plume 4 levels earlier, which targets two attackers (and ally's, so another fire pokemon, or a throw away HM slave would work nice if you only carry two pokemon)

It's also worth noting Ghastly's can be caught in Bellsprout tower at night. While Miltank now carries Scrappy (an ability that let's it hit ghosts with normal moves), you should be able to get in Hypnosis + Curse. If nothing else, curse will guarantee an eventual kill if it's her last pokemon. You'll just need to rough it out until it dies.
