Am I the middle of a late teenage angst ?

These times, I just can't stand my family. I really don't know why. I think it's because my parents came to visit us (my mother's staying for 2 months and my father only a few days). Since they're here, I see my sisters everyday (I live with two of my brothers. My two sisters left the house a long time ago). And now, one of my sisters acts like she's still living here, always complaining about everything... (last time was 5 minutes ago, she was complaining about the kitchen being in a mess, something she doesn't care about normally) I don't know if it's only me, but it's just like everyone changed since my parents are here. Even my big brother starts to be angry for such little things... I'm so fed up that I spend my days in my room, playing DS, watching anime, reading books,... just to avoid my family. The only people I can see are my little brother who is 17 and my other sister. I think it's only a matter of days before I explode... I hope I'm not doing my 'teenage crisis' now, I'm already 20 years and it's holidays :D

You have to make the best of a situation you don't have full control over and may never will.
In order to preserve your sanity those escapes are perfectly fine, but you won't explode. Don't take other people's problems with the world and each other as your own problems, and you will grow much faster.

My anxiety was directly fueled by a lifelong nasal blockage forcing me to mouthbreathe causing a mountain of physical and mental ailments, all of which were flushed down the toilet soon after surgery

so that's my suggestion, fix yer effing nose

an instant fix to one's problems won't change their environment.
which can be quite a shock to someone who hasn't lived away from home for a long time before, or is still young.

naw for real, I was about to buy a gun and end my life, but after healing the anxiety just switched off and never returned as of mid-march. I know it might not be his problem, but I want to tell the whole fucking world about the importance of nasal breathing and its impact on your adrenaline/cortisol, body heat/exercising, etc etc.

i'm happy you've healed. :moogle:

I petty much live in my room to avoid my parents. We hardly fight at all, then again we hardly see each other.

Do whatever works.

Actually??
Holy shit.
That might explain a bit about me and my anxiety and severe migraines...
except the doctor doesn't have any solutions for me though...

I hate nasal blockages, often have cause my immune system is kinda weak (I can catch a cold in summer) I caught the swine flu during last summer :D (it was so fun to walk in the street with a mask and look at people's reactions).

Update of my situation : Finally, I wasn't the one who exploded, it was my big brother :P Since he was so ridiculous, I think that I'll avoid the explosion... Even my mother shouted on him lol. This time he was angry because there was some broken household electrical appliance on the terrace and we didn't threw them out. Did I forgot to tell that he was in charge of that ? Last month, he said that he would bring them in a store to throw them. Now, it's our fault if he didn't do it. It seems that the true reason was that two bin bags from yesterday that we forgot to throw. My bad, I should be more careful now. I'm seriously thinking about moving now. My first year in university was a total disaster. My university is in another city (I was waking up at 6:20 AM to be at school at 8AM). So for my inner peace, and my future, I think I'll move for my next school year :)
