Drugs and Me :)

Ok I've noticed there are a lot of people her on temp that hate the thought of the use of drugs ( recreational use ) yet they have never tried them? I understand that most countries advertise them as being very bad and harmful but when have governments told us the truth

I big example is weed ( Marijuana/Cannabis ) , people are always quoting and liking to all of this information that says that it is very harmful, addictive ect but they never look at the other side of the argument, there is also many people who have found differently, they have found it can help with pain and they have never actually proved that weed is harmful 100%.

When it comes to addiction some drugs are addictive and very dangerous ( E.g Heroin ) and can cause many problems but when it comes to weed it's different. It's just something you like doing, so when you stop it's not hard, it's just a bit like someone saying stop playing games, it's sad because you enjoyed it and it was fun but it doesn't mean you can't do it? Here is where people are like " It's called Psychological addiction *Link to page* and it's just as bad" but it just isn't, I could get that to anything so why does it matter when it's drugs?

Using drugs is a choose chosen by the person doing so, no one is forcing you to take them? or even like them but there is no point in saying they are bad and no one should ever use them because it doesn't help anyone? I take a lot of drugs and my girlfriend doesn't take any but she know that I like doing them and I don't do anything stupid because of them and I have no addictions so what is the problem. There are expensive in some places but so is buying and playing Xbox games online for example or playing WoW ( Used because everyone here is a gamer in some way :) )

So there is my little rant about how people should stop arguing or at least respect both sides of the argument :)

As a little added point if people do select they have tried drugs what have you tried? Any funny stories when on them :P

I might throw out some stories of the funniest times when I can be bothered but personally I have tried a lot

Hasn't it been proven in a study or something, that Alcohol is worse for the body than Weed, and more people die from liquor than weed?

Anyways, I only smoke weed. And to be honest, it's probably the smartest decision I've ever made.

Before I smoked it, I was always a bit of a loner. Always kept to myself, shy as fuck, never been to a party or anything like that. I smoke weed, I've made so many more friends (a lot of them don't smoke weed) and I come out of my shell. Hell when I'm high, I lift weights, a lot of them.

I will admit though, that it takes a while to get used to smoking weed. It takes a couple times before you can find the sweet spot for your body before you overdo it and start freaking out. It took me a couple times, but now I know how much I can smoke and everything.

I have to be honest, when I didn't smoke weed, I was borderline suicidal. Nothing was going right for me at all. I had very little friends, I was basically just a speck of sand in a desert. I had nothing going for me. And now that I smoke it, I've gained a lot more friends than I ever thought I could. I've gained a lot more confidence where I stand out at parties and amongst people now. I'm happy pretty much every day now. I guess in a way, as cheezy as shit as this will sound, smoking weed saved my life.

I think it should be legalized. Hell you can take a room of 10 people, and at least 5 of them smoke weed. It's so common now that it isn't frowned upon as much as it used to. Other drugs I say should stay illegal as they're a hit and miss with people. But these days, it's rare to find laced weed that fucks with you. It should be legalized, but there should still be some restrictions to it. Mainly for the fact that it doesn't really do any harm to your body whatsoever.

I smoke weed quite regularly, but I've also done speed, acid, ecstacy, coke, poppers and tried heroin once. :)

If someone does drugs, but are preferably fine, why the hell would you call them sicko? especially if it helps them!?

well, here are my thoughts:
i dont know why people always see marihuana as a horrible drug. i have tried it and do it sometimes (not ocassionally like once every 3-4 months :P) and to tell you the truth, its effects are alot better than alcohol which is a drug accepted and legal by society. marihuana is basically a pain killer and its effects are basically this, makes you happy and enjoyable, not worrying about things and all. while alcohol is an antidepressant and affects your nervous system making you less aware of your actions and movements. there has never been a case of marihuana poisoning or marihuana over dose, while with alcohol you can get alcohol poisoning and die by this. and also last but not least, THC (TetraHydroCannabinol) which is the main active component in marihuana, does not have any type of adiction except psycological, while other legal drugs like cigarettes have a physical addiction on users.

i just believe in organic drugs though, not human/chemically manufactured. like opium, shrooms, marihuana, and other organic drugs, but not cocaine, heroine, acid or those chemical drugs since chemical drugs do have negative side effects for using chemicals

I'm not saying to do it, but you should try it to judge for yourself. The best method I found (depending on what your smoking from) is, to inhale for like 3 seconds, then (if your using a bong), pull that out, inhale the smoke in the bong, and the inhale air to get it into your lungs, then exhale. Then wait. If you feel a little bit of a difference like you feel excited just a little bit, then that's the point you want. You could probably inhale a tiny bit more just to get more excited.

But you don't want to inhale as much as humanly possible. I tried that with this bong my friend has, and I was destroyed. I was not happy or anything, I was scared. My vision was spinning and I was zooming in on things, and my heart was beating really fast. It's not the good high that you want to be at. But I came up with a bit of a technique where while I'm inhaling the smoke, I'll lift the bowl out of the bong and put it back in a bunch of times to just dilute the smoke a little bit. But now I don't even have to do that.

If you mean here(on temp) by hear then yes they do get bashed a lot on here.

Where I live, cannabis(I dont call it Marijuana as that was the racist fear mongering government given name) is practically legal. With in a mile of my house there about 5 different dispensaries and then there are about 100 in the entire city. Pretty much if you can pay for the permit, you can go to these stores to get your cannabis.

A trigger of chemicals in the brain doesn't classify something as a drug. A drug is an actual substance. Chocolate is just sugar and not a whole lot else which causes a different response. Video games only cause a reaction in certain individuals. In others, they do nothing. Actual drugs tend to have some kind of universal effect that will get you regardless of who you are.

Love isn't a trigger either; it's everything leading up to it that gives the impression that it may be. Infatuation, affection, and the like release chemicals in the brain. Drugs tend to release them on a very high level.

I am an abuser of dihydrogen monoxide. I consume literally tons of it daily. I NEED IT TO LIVE MAN! I' DEPENDENT!
