I never actually get to be home alone any more. My family is nearly always here since my dad has no social life whatsoever and my brother is either at work or here, never anything else. On the odd occasion I do have the house completely to myself I used to use that time to play on the PS3, since whenever the old man is here (IE: pretty much all day every day) I can't use it because he's either playing Tiger Woods or watching property shows. Heaven forefend he should look for a job, or a social life, or a reason why he should continue to exist.

Of course now I have Heather, so whenever we have the house to ourselves we...well, I'll leave the rest to your imagination.
