Yeah I get that. Sorry for causing such a fuss. I'm just worried that this will lead to dispute among tempers, hope you'd understand.

On topic, IMO games will look better. Not in terms of HD or what, but in clarity or something similar. Unreal Engine for example keeps on improving as time passes

why do you keep saying this? these are good arguments. it's not like they are getting down each others throats . it makes this site fun and you can potentially learn facts from this.

anyways...now im really curious on how games on ps4 will look. its not just going to look prettier, its going to be stronger too and i wonder what the leap in power will let the system do/create. are there games on the pc that can't run on ps3 due to pc games being more powerful?

you beat me to it. lol . kinda harsh though =P but i too was annoyed

edit: oh i just thought of something. it may sound stupid. anyways, i remember back then during the ps1 days that i would always think that games would totally amazing when they look like the cgi from ffVII. then ps2 came along and surpassed it. Then i played ffX and was like wow games would look amazing when it looks like the cgi from that game. fXIII surpasses it some ways with its in game graphics. point im making is that i can still see a clear difference when there's a cgi in FXIII versus its in game cutscenes. maybe the future of gaming will look even more like those cutscenes?

Wii U is the stepping stone for Virtual Reality. (for consumers, at least.)

I bet games won't improve on resolution but in order areas for next gen. Unless some company were to come up with what uHD at double the resolution.

Looks better than most games this generation... and it's nowhere near done.

OK , you wanna know how good can games possibly get ( graphic wise ) ?
Well then take a look at any recent PIXAR movie, and imagine that in real time on your TV (possibly with a PS4 ).
When we get to that kind of power, what do you honestly expect next ?
Are you still gonna say graphics can get better ? Or will the creativity and talent of developers make the difference ?
After that you can only imagine to interact with a real movie.



Now who needs here better graphics then a PIXAR movie ?
