I love this...

I do my chores, try not to cause trouble, etc., and I get $10 to go to the movies that I have to argue with my mom for 2 hours to get...

And my brother makes my mom do his summer school work, swears up a storm, treats everyone like shit...And he gets a Dazzle (Video capture device) worth $80. Yeah, definitely nothing fucked up with that.

Then, my mom has the fucking nerve to ask me to help him set it up, like I should just stop what I'm doing (In this case hanging out with my friends) and go help his selfish, disrespectful, annoying self. Yeah fucking right. I can't thin k of one good reason why I should help the little shit after all he does is fuck with my life.

Then, my dad (Who was here because he took my brother to get the Dazzle) wants to come and yell at me, saying I shouldn't talk to my mom like that. Yeah, well she shouldn't talk to me like I'm her and my brother's slave. The only time they ever need or want me for anything is when it involves technology or heavy lifting.

I'm tired of always being on the shit end of EVERYTHING involving my family.

I hate my brother too. He doesn't notice when he's a dick to me, but when I do the same thing, he spazzes out.

This isn't about whether I have money or not, moron. It's about the fact that my mom treats me like shit because I apparently don't deserve it, but she goes out and buys my brother shit when he's like the spawn of Satan.

If your family is treating you like shit, obviously you don't enjoy being around them. I see you're 19 go rent an apartment somewhere and don't stress yourself. Otherwise stop complaining and suck it up. Btw i take it your brother is younger than you? How old exactly?

I find usually in these situations, its really one-sided when viewed. You are definitely not telling the whole story, you're obviously flawed in a way in order for your parents to do that to you.

It's either that, or your parents really are messed up.


Have you tried talking to your parents about it then? There isn't much point in ranting in your blog. All you'll get is a few suggestions based on the information you gave. The point is, give us moar information in order to accurately help you.

I entered this thread expecting something awesome, I leave disappointed.

And yeah, getting an apartment on your own, especially when you're 19, is not easy. I don't know how it is elsewhere, but even studio apartments go for around $600 a month around here.

I feel your pain. My younger sister gets everything and she doesn't have to move a muscle, my mom is constantly bitching about something she did wrong and how it's all my fault.
