Added quite a bit of stuff since last time. Forest canopy overlay, stamina meter/sprinting, mini map, Crimson Vice defense soldier, shotgun weapon, assault rifle weapon, and some other minor stuff. The stamina meter drains when you run (Using the Shift key), and won't refill unless you stand...
Added the HUD, which displays how much health you have, along with what weapon you have, and how much ammo it has. You pick up weapons from small deposits, and you cannot pick up another weapon until your current one is out of ammo.
There will be different types of weapons, such as guns...
Serenity is an 2D, top-down, exploration/adventure game. The world itself is free-roam, and will contain a lot of different areas, from forests, to swamps, to deep jungles. I kind of want to have the game be enemy-less, but have environmental obstacles and hazards instead.
Anyway, the game is...
- Added a little pond.
- Added lily pads.
- Added water sun glare things (Not sure what the actual term is).
- Made it so the HUD disappears when you're standing still.
- Added godrays into the actual game (They were only on the title screen before)
- Added time-based godrays and sun shading to the title screen
- Added a hoe and seeds as a start to farming.
- Tweaked tree sprites. Trunks are shaded better, and pine trees are rounded.
- Added pine, willow, and dead trees
- Added ferns
- Added secret weather effect that I don't want to reveal.

As you can see in the screenshot, I've been working on a new area called Mothwood Swamp. Mossy/hanging vine trees, lilypads, and cat tails are the main plants found in the swamp, but some areas will have mushrooms, flowers, and other plants as well.

I've added sunrays (I took the sprite from my Zelda game, but I did make the sprite myself, along with the rain and other things I took from it) that show whenever it's sunny. They change direction/opacity/color depending on the time of day as well...
