Holy fuck, what's with this K[rap]-Pop trend all of a sudden? I don't understand why people are going crazy over it. It's the same as regular, monotonous, shitty pop, but with lyrics you can't even understand.

Why does that matter? As long as it still evokes emotion and/or sounds good, that's all that matters.

'Tis why I love Japanese music. Weird thing, I can listen to a whole bunch of songs in different languages than English and I will love them (Not just Japanese, pretty much any other language), but it's rare that I like a song in English

K-Pop? Korean pop?

When it comes to J-pop, ZONE is the best. No one comes close imo.

Why is it always about J-pop? Why does no one listen to things like J-Rock, or Classical Japanese music? Or Traditional, which is probably my favorite.

J-Rock? I like The Pillows - I own a few of their CDs. Other than that, I don't listen to a whole lot of J-rock bands. Any you'd like to recommend?

I'm Korean and I don't like 90% of current Kpop

90's was the best for the Kpop scene, quality music, 1-2 million copies of albums selling (now all pirated and have to be sold digitally to make some profit)

This feels like a insult :angry2: Most of those western boy bands cant dance like the korean. And even if they could, they wouldnt be able to do such a intense dance on their music video or live.

@Prowler & TDWP FTW: Its the same for all music no? Only thing i hear in metal is pure scream. Only thing i enjoy in rock is their ability to play the guitar so well, their voice feels gibberish(except jrock). Personal taste, though i find Kpop>Jpop>few Jrocks>above everything else. Come and QQ when you can find someone dancing as good as them while singing the song.
