Dear Life: Could we talk...seriously?

So right now, I'm kind of flat broke. I need three more classes to finish my damn degree, and then it's off for a year of internship at an actual institution. (And no, I`m not applying for an old age home or nursing home. That kind of broke my spirit - people suffering and dying is so not my cup of tea. And the RN`s are kind of not my type of people - my associates are idiots, apparently. Or that they are so fucking burnt out that they don`t know what to do.)

But that`s all. Right now I`m applying to study online for the two psychology courses that I need to finish my damn certification. (Story is: I can get my degree, I just won`t be certified for my job by my organization.) The people who are pushing through this change are my teachers and faculty - so I`m in the best place to learn from the best. However, you may know that I`m not really a social person. I can do small talk, and it takes a long time for me to trust people. (One of my rules is: If I don`t fully trust the person I`m with, I don`t drink alcohol.) It served me well, but right now I`m kind of kicking myself for not being a people person - I could have learned earlier that I needed the damn psychology courses to finish this race. And you know university; most friends are made in social contexts, drinking, playing around, and being social. I`m terrible in large groups of people!

Lastly, no one is hiring me for a job. I`ve done job interviews at extremely shitty jobs (one was fundraising for a non-profit group (they had a mentality that was like...this job only rocks, and you had to be social in order to do this), and most jobs are hiring much younger people with less life experience than I have.

Well, the positives are:
- I`m healthy for now
- I met a few local monster hunters who are pretty chill
- I`m trying to get registered online for classes - it`s pretty cool
- I got an 80% in my first year biology class (I knew most of the material already - good thing about being an antisocial nerd.)
- I made a few new tee shirts!

Crafting:
- I`m still into carving stamps, and I`ve pioneered a method for stamping or printing onto tee shirts

Great thing about this technique, is that each tee shirt turns out different in subtle ways. No one is alike!

I will be selling the extra I made for $20 CAD + shipping. (It`s a white tee shirt with green printing.)
