So...Gears of War 3. Like 4 days left. I'm pretty excited about it, as the beta was awesome, and seeing as I loved Gears 2, I'm sure I'll love this one. Me and 3 friends are gonna be going to my local GameStop's midnight launch for it, and according to one of the employees I was talking to about it, it's gonna be fun. We've gone to quite a few midnight launches at our GameStop, such as MW2, Halo Reach, and a few others. Best part is, there's a Sonic (Fast-food restaurant for those who don't know) right across from it, so we can just walk over and get some food if we want.
In other news, I've started redoing my Decay game (I posted about it a while back, but no one responded to the topic), and have quite a bit of the engine complete. I'm renaming it Journey to Hell, as it fits the storyline a lot better, and pretty much explains the main "goal" of the game. Here's an early screenshot:
The 2 black ghost looking things are enemies called Broken Spirits. The screenshot is of an area in the Sinner's Tomb (One of the levels), which is mainly filled with undead stuff, some lava here and there, and some dark areas that will require you to use a certain item to "see" your way through the areas.
Also, I've noticed I'm becoming more...Harsh, I guess. A lot of my posts are blunt, rude, and it makes me sound like a dick. I don't know why, but I've had this attitude a lot online lately. On here, Minecraft Forums, Game Maker Community, etc. I guess I'm just sick of all the idiots on here and those other sites (Trolls, noobs, etc.) and it's all adding up. Music usually helps relieve stress for me, so maybe I'll try listening to music while browsing forums.
