I had a nightmare tonight

I dreamed that Reggie Fils-Aimé was dead...
I dont remember how
I dont remember why
I dont remember when
but he was dead
when I woke up, i was soooo relieved :(

You dreamt someone you don't know and presumably has no connection to anybody you do know was dead and that was somehow a nightmare?

I guess that is as valid a nightmare as you dreaming about the president, the queen, the pope, your favorite musician, football player, film maker, the girl of your dreams that you just met on the same dream, etc. dying.

Personally for a few days I keep dreaming of cigarettes and how delicious they are (I no longer smoke though) and wake up with the desire to smoke a delicious cigarette.

Pretty different from what usually makes me wake up nauseated and unsure of what is real or something.

Some languages use 'tonight' to refer to the previous night as well.

There is a slim possibility some alive today will live to see mind uploading, especially if ageing is defeated, and in that case we can probably be around in some capacity to see the heat death of the universe, at which point existence itself is arguably meaningless.
