So my extra o3DS never went online and never had an NNID attached to it. It was originally on 9.9 firmware, and I ended up using OoTHax to downgrade while I had the chance. I finally completed the installation of A9LH on it, and used Luma3DS.
Today, a friend of mine wanted his 11.0.33 U o3DS downgraded and exploited with A9LH. I finally had to chance to use the Fieldrunners exploit - and learn something from it.
Tips:
- Copy your SD cards
- Your DSi Ware is transferred via wifi in one of the last steps on your stock 3DS
- it takes forever and a day - you have to set up an new NNID, and buy the DSiWare. And the system transfer takes forever to finish a few things.
Oh yeah, and use the latest update of FBI - it will save you a headache. (My last version didn't have the "current directory" menu option...)
Edit: I deleted the throwaway NNID, and my friend is going to toss his NNID back onto the system. I'm also going to restore my sysnand A9LH backup as well..
