Nintendo easily COULD have their biggest Direct this E3

Now I'm not saying they will. But based on what we know they have in the works alone and the timing of it all, really could cause the perfect storm for potentially the most satisfying Nintendo Direct we've yet seen.

If the Switch Pro isn't announced before E3, they could kick the show off with it and explain that the games you'll see following will be able to take advantage of the better specs of the system refresh, and maybe if some games are exclusive to it (if that will be a thing with the new device), they could then show off those games too while explaining they'll be exclusive to the new model.

BOTW2, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Splatoon 3, and Shin Megami Tensei V are all heavy hitters we know that are coming to the Switch, and if they wanted they likely could easily show off plenty of gameplay for each I have to imagine. Not to mention at least 1 Smash DLC fighter is essentially a given, possibly the last 2 for all we know. I feel like all of that alone would make for a top tier Direct, and you just know there are some big reveals we are not officially aware of yet at that.

Now I doubt all those games would be given a spotlight, I imagine we wont see much of anything for Splatoon 3 after it was just revealed in the last direct, and Pokemon tends to get their own separate directs. Still, we know they have a nice selection of heavy hitters in the works and if they wanted to, Nintendo probably could release their greatest Direct thus far that blows our collective minds.

Realistically, they probably will hold back as they tend to do, but I would just love to see just once, for Nintendo to unapologetically blow a huge load, it would be a pretty powerful message for the gaming industry in the year where Sony and Microsoft have released brand new hardware and at most Nintendo just has an upgraded refresh model about to release instead.

It's the 35th Anniversary of Zelda, so if they don't focus on that, it's a lost cause. (Also WW and TP HD for Switch?)
Other than that, it's Nintendo, they'll holdback on some things for sure, but let's see how this goes.
