This will have spoilers, if you ever decide to watch it.
1987, Classic white guy pranks black guy during drill, meteorite comes down, they chase bumblebee, turns out he can speak, then bad guy comes, they fight. eventually good guy wins, but bumblebee is badly damaged so he pretty much dies, but before dying, turns into a slug bug.
So it's pretty much, I'm a quirky girl, my dad died, I want a car, I'm the only one who doesn't like my step-dad, I like working on cars, and the unpopular girl at school and life. there's a guy obviously interested in me, but I've never talked to him or really interested in him, because I'm edgy, and I don't need a guy.
WHEN SUDDENLY, she a finds a "car" in the junkyard while she's looking for parts, a couple days later she asks the guy if she can have it, that she'll work there for a year, this and that, and he says no, that they aren't hiring, and gives her the car because it's her birthday. she "Magically" gets the car working because plot of the movie. She takes the car home, and an arm falls out, and then Bumble bee is the car, WHAT A PLOT TWIST.
while this is happening Decepticons are hunting down all the autobots one by one, and eventually find out where Bumble bee is hiding on earth, so they go there.
Instead of shooting up the place like decepticons usually do, they play it smart by saying that Bumblebee is really a war criminal, and if they don't find him, it might bring the war there. Agent John Cena thinks it's a bad idea, while the professor, like stupeified professors do, thinks it's a great idea. They obviously go with the Professor's Idea and give them access to pretty much all their technology.
While she's working on bumblebee in the garage, the guy that's interested pretty much barges into the garage and asks her to go on a date, but see's bumblebee and freaks out. from that point they are pretty much friends, and maybe even lovers.
They go driving the next day, no where in particular, when suddenly, it turns out there's a party at the cliff side. Quirky girl gets dared to do something, doesn't do it, people make fun of her and her dead dad. When the guy (obviously) has a want for revenge, and apparently so does the robot.
They go tp the house, which BB not knowing what to do, pretty much destroys the rich person's car. then a police chase because why not.
alot of the humor is typical humor, for kids pretty much. there's no actual jokes, or any hint hints wink winks.
eventually they find out the decepticons are bad, and try to kill the two(because the two are gonna call an army to earth to destroy it, typical aliens)
Bumblebee is almost dead for the third time, but is actually fine swimming under water. Agent John Cena being the good guy he is, tell them to get out before his friends get there, and detain them.
Quirky girl gets her actual dream car, and leaves bumblebee, beecause they can't be together, because she'll just get caught. There's a hint of Optimis prime at the end. Quirky girl and Nerd guy kiss obviously, Typical stuff.
I honestly give it like a 6/10 I'd watch it once
bad:
Plot is subpar
too many cliches
about all humor in the movie is "butt humor"
Quirky girl is too quirky
the timeline for it seems kind of weird

Even though plot is subpar, they did something different and made the decepticons smart, and made them play good guy for alot of the movie.
Movie isnt a typical 5 hours for a transformer's movie (only two)
Since this is in like late 1900s there's alot of old stuff around, which was kind of a fun to see, appealing to my retro side.
The movie eventually ends.
The fight scenes are kind of good, but they are rather sparse.
Movie was pretty overall meh, and kind of wished I spent my time otherwise
