So, I've been on GBATemp for a while now, almost a whole year.
I've joined back in February 2015 ( I did lurk for a while, but I really didn't care much ).
I had joined so I could ask some stuff about emulators for the Wii's Homebrew Launcher and HID support on them ( Which still hasn't happened, god dammit xD ), but then, I started to look around the forum too, going to other sections and stuff, and then I stumbled across 3DS homebrew. At that time I had a 3DS but it wasn't on a exploitable version and heck, even if it was on 9.2 I probably would have updated anyways because I was too scared to do something wrong and brick.
So, it stayed like that for a while, I would just look around the homebrew section seeing what other users were doing... But when browserhax and tubehax came out I decided to try it out. I knew it couldn't brick, but I was still scared, very hesitant to do it. But I did it, I was fairly surprised by it but I didn't really have a reason to stay in there so I deleted everything from my SD card and updated again.
And boy, do I regret doing that. It took months for a new free exploit to come out and when it did, I just installed it as fast as possible, this time with a lot less fear, I went ahead and installed emulators, custom themes, apps and now my most recent achievment, legit cias.
Well, I haven't even talked about GBATemp yet xD
So now I will, GBATemp has the best community and the most friendly people I've ever ever seen, there is a big bunch of ignorant noobs, trolls and non-english speaking people, but that's a small ( Well, not SO small ) part of GBATemp compared to the good people. So far, I've liked every single person on the staff and I just love most of the long-time users, all very nice and funny people.
The staff also does an amazing job on the forums, banning those who deserve to be banned.
The website itself is also awesome. I really like the blog feature even though this is my first time posting on it and it just has a nice interface ( Specially with the dark theme which doesn't tire my eyes ).
I've also made some great friends here, I won't be giving any names though, you know who you are hehe.
So yeah, thanks for everything GBATemp, hopefully I'll stay here for as long as possible ^-^
