i am trying to get my Wired Xbox 360 Rock Band Guitar Controller to work on my PS3 for Rock Band 3.

This sounds like it might be what you're looking for. The search function works pretty well. Also a quick google search gave me the answer pretty quick which was yes, but requires a working Wifi/BT module.

i tried this already it crashes my PS3 when going to launch HEN.

I'm pretty sure i have it working on 4.89 HEN . Do you have the latest HEN 3.1.1 ?
Also , try version 0.7, not 0.8

yes, and just tried version 0.7 of PS3xPAD, it causes my System to turn off once i enable HEN.
is it possible you can send me your folder of PS3xPAD?

so it doesnt crash HEN anymore, do i need to activate PS3xPAD somehow, Start + Select + Square doesnt seem to do anything.

Did you also place the boot_plugins.txt in dev_hdd0 ? Try an Xbox controller for testing, do you have one ?

yes i tried a wired 360 controller and the boot_plugins.txt is in dev_hdd0, maybe i didnt do soemthing right idk

i had PS3xpad in the wrong folderand now it crashes when loading hen

OK now i got it working, but it see the Rock Band Guitar as just a normal controller.. that was a waste of time, sorry.
