If you can afford a switch you can afford a jig.
How precise I need to be for the paperclip thing? And if it bricks, is it fixable?

I didn't buy the switch they bought it for me
I personally would not use the paper clip method, or any other than the jig. Find a friend, school, library, etc, who has a 3d printer, or buy a jig off ebay, they're super cheap. Not worth the risk of frying your switch.

Asking for 2nd time. What's the best way to bend the paperclip, and what are the chances for the switch bricking?
i never use joycons so that doesnt bother me to much, pls continue w/ list of risks
