I think you need to care more about yourself than putting effort and energy into hating me. I find it hilarious that you are comparing mafia like behavior to you getting banned from one side of the community for your crazy tinfoil hat wearing antics. I dont hate you. I merely point out your behaviour, which i dislike since it led to what it led. To this day i have not seen that adressed so i assume the source of it is still there.

@linuxares why was my post deleted? All I did was point out that gbatemp is being infested by brand new accounts shilling 4IFIR. Go and take a look at all the recent posts in the two 4IFIR threads.

I then linked to a very informative post by a respected scene member which analyzed this poor Switch-OC-Suite edit. In my opinion neither of those things warranted deleting my post.

Now the only question is why? Why is this Cooler3D character so desperate for attention, the constant barrage of marketing style language and flashy numbers all designed to appeal to less experienced users. I've honestly never seen anything so desperate in the Switch scene. Does Cooler3D crave the approval of others or is there something more sinister at work here?

No in all seriousness. The Switch got inbuilt protections last time I checked. So it would shutdown for example with overheating. It's not a Xbox 360

As everyone's said time and time again, temps are kind of a non issue, its mostly just going over cpu/gpu power regulator limits (which please correct me if im wrong but the switch does essentially nothing about) that are the main issues here.

Just wanted to share my experience while using 4ifir since more than 1 year of average use.

I primarly use it to give a needed boost to demanding emulators (bsnes hd beta for Super Mario World and Super Metroid widescreen mods, Zelda 1 HD on Mesen, Windows CE games on flycast standalone, Citra, Killer instinct on MAME and mupen64+ for Banjo-Tooie and other stuttery games).

To achieve this I use 4ifir 1.2 latest Erista fix, cpu clock maximized to 2397 mhz, gpu between 460/768 mhz and ram maximized to 1996 mhz. Battery lasts about 3 1/2 hours without any softlocks.

If I want to play Switch games with patches (better resolutions or 60 frames) I use 4ifir 1.3 st6+. Here Erista consoles are not that great in comparison to mariko consoles, but is totally fine for me because I rarely use mod patches.

Cooler3D keep up the good work, I hope someday you'll release that 4ifir for Switchroot android so I can ditch that poor/limited twrp overclock flashable zip files.
