I'm planning to get switch lite mod by someone how to update cause My other switch has SX os they used to dropped updated. other chips do the same or no update just hikate and atmosphere I'm good to go also can play game card too? thanks
So basically this mod can hack any switch, regardless of firmware version, so feel free to update your switch lite to the latest OFW (16.0.2 currently) and then make a copy of that to an emuNAND when you receive your console back from your modder. You can play your game cartridges all the same.

Good morning lads.
I installed a rp2040 and I only get blue led for very seconds, then green led for a moment and then OFW starts.
What am I doing wrong?
Rp2040 buy in aliexpress, i have flashed 2.67 FW.
The console have parentale Control Active.
This is a no patched switch (i have installed rp2040 for test).

"and a GIANT warning to unplug your battery before touching anything inside the switch"

Thank you for the many Switches you will save by adding this warning :yayswitch:
Can't help myself... ^That and adding the DMM were my suggestions, so happy! Thanks Jay!

I'd say check your CPU-MOSFET(s)\flex. Green looks an awful lot like Cyan (which is green+blue).

I don't remember if it was this thread or other picofly one.
* What pin/pins can I disconnect to use the switch lite in the meantime while I wait for a few more supplies?
My girl is complaining about her animal crossing town :D. Trying to solder these tiny Mosfet's while trying to hold them with tweezers is killing me. I have everything wired but getting CPU error.
* Will this Mosfet (IRF8714TRPBF) work as a replacement? Someone mentioned a similar one.
I have a great soldering station but my flux and solder aren't working for this application.
* What are recommendations for those?
Currently, using Sn60/Pb40 Solder and MG Chemicals 8361 No Clean Flux
Thanks

One trick is to use UV-cured solder mask to tack down the mosfet in place and then solder to it. Some non-acidic silicone would probably work too.

Yep I had old batch but leaked everywhere just hopped on Amazon to order more. Spend good time today running around to multiple stores looking for that "as seen on tv" version I've bought in the past.
Try a cross tweezers.
I use this an it hold the mosfet verry good in place:

How are you holding them while soldering and iron. I tried tinning fet but smaller pad/pin is being a problem. This is why I'm thinking flux might be an issue.

In all honesty, I don't know why but it worked after 2/3 starts.

When cold (when switched off) sometimes the start is immediate, other times it takes about 8/10 seconds (alternating blue/light blue led, then green).

Mosfets always soldered in the same way, it's the only switch that takes longer.

The others are very fast in starting.

Thanks to you I solved the parental Control on Emummc, can I also solve on OFW?
