Hi guys, i just followed a guy tutorial on youtube to update my switch from 15.01 to 16.02. However, after I finished all the steps and reboot my switch stucks into a BSOD when I launch emunand, how can I solve that?
Never ever follow YouTube videos. They are outdated the moment they are released and aren't made by any trusted people. Try deleting your /atmosphere folder and downloading a new one from the official GitHub page.
Two quick questions since I have an unpatched arriving tomorrow. This isn't at all my first rodeo but first time on switch so just checking
1) hekate and atmosphere supports 16.0.2 as far as I can tell, so no reason not to just update my sysnand straight to that right? Saves me updating the emunand separately later on so makes sense yeah? Lockpick_rcm is only updated to 16.0.0 though so not sure if that will work?
If not, what should I do, hack based on whatever the firmware is that arrives on it, then upgrade later?
2) if I have a choice of file types to in terms of...backups, xci nsp etc, what's the best option generally speaking? Nsp or nsz (for reduced size?) right?

- Exactly, just because Atmosphere and Hekate support the latest fimware doesn't mean you should immediately update your firmware. Waiting allows you to better control the firmware of both sysMMC and emUMMC. Also, Lockpick_RCM should still work on all 16.X versions. There was only one version that supported firmware 15.0 so until a 16.X firmware introduces major changes, the latest release will be sufficient
- With the death of SX OS, there are virtually no differences between .NSP and .XCI files unless you're a purist. Both file types are supported via installation, even though .XCI files are technically cartridge dumps. If you want the best bang for your buck, .NSZ files are preferred as they take up the least amount of space possible on a storage medium uninstalled. They are functionally the same as .NSP files

Do you use Hekate? If so, download the latest version of Hekate and place those files on the SD card as well.

I installed an nsp and instead of an icon on the home screen its just a spinning circle. I also can't open the game cuz i gives me an error code 2155-8007. how would I fix this?

Then i get the error with the Cloudsavegame and i can start the game. Its annoying but ok.
But lately many Dont work right.
When i play Mario Party as soon as i start a Game, i get a error and the game forcecloses.
Also when i play SNES Emulator . When i press rewind i get the a error and the game forcecloses. Its annoying.
Does anyone know how to fix the Problem ?

The account on this switch is not set to primary and is trying to call home to check if the user is allowed to play said game
Hello, my switched battery went 0% and the switch shutted completely off. I didn't remember what version of atmo I had on my sd, so I updated it to latest version but then I got an issue:
when I inject the payload everything work until atmo logo shows up, then the screen become black and I can't do anything bot handled that the other mode. I noticed the same problem when I try to use the mount sd card as mass storage from tegra even tho I can see the switch memory as media device. What can I do in order to lunch atmosphere again? I don't even remember what firmware my switch has.
