HI,

I am running either Atmosphere 1.6.1with Firmware 17.0.0 or SX OS (depending on the usd card inserted) and facing a couple of issues.

1. Joy-cons fail to connect to the console with the Joy-Con Grip. I always have to go through the painful process of going to the joy-con sync menu whereas before all I had to do was slide them into the console itself.

2. When launching Tinfoil, it complains the system time is off. Maybe this is related to the DNS I used to prevent the console from connecting to whatever servers ?

Thanks,

I am usure but I believe sysnand is either 11.0.0 or lower. So how do I solve this 'un-syncing' issue & date/time issue (may be this is linked) ?

Don't know if it has to do with you using more than one card, ideally it is not a good idea to keep switching SD cards, as that SD card slot is fragile, you should be able to get up dual emunand on one single card with one for SX OS and one for Atmosphere. As for time related problem you can use homebrew like switchtime to fix your time if you can't fix it by syncing it on wifi.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
