Ok first of all, I really dont care about zip support, like someone said, GB and GBC games are not that big. Now fullscreen output, specially for the 3DS XL is really needed. Thats what id like to see in the emu in a future release. Mainly cuz Id like to play my GB games colorized but in full screen... Back to Lameboy it is then...

Im just saying I like my games full screen, hate dem black borders.... Lameboy does fullscreen. But the gb colorization option is actually pretty nice!

There's already a fullscreen scale option. It's right there in the display option screen along with the aspect scaling option. Maybe you could try using the latest "unstable" versions.

Just to be clear, with that build (whenever it comes) we'll be able to rely on the autosave or is it more of a "backup" sort of deal, in which it prevents disasters but doesn't avert the manual save issue?

PS: Like always, thank you a lot for the hard work.
The idea is that it will replace manual saving altogether, not like a backup - the actual save is updated as necessary.
So when do you think v0.4 will be? so many leaps in performance and features now that it deserves it I think
It's about time for a 0.4. I thought .3's changelog was big but .4's will be ginormous. Autosaving will be the last thing I experiment with before focusing on polishing existing features for the next release.

I don't see why people need zip support that badly. GB/GBC games aren't that big.
Saving space where you can is always good makes your SD's give more bang for buck!

For me I always use Zipped Roms where I can, I trim my Advance and DS Roms too the size savings mount up! all in all I saved 2GB or so from trimming and such :P

Hey drenn, looking forward to the 4.0 stable release=)

just added the newest build to my side-sd, and im getting blackscreens in dsi mode again.
No pressure, but same here.....luckily I keep a copy of v0.3-100-g694d which still works fine and does pretty much everything, but it would be nice to be able to check the new features ;)

I examined lameboy through desmume and I think my algorithm is very very similar to what it's doing. The only problem I've noticed is that the top line of pixels is a bit awkward, so I'll try to adjust that. Other than that this is probably as good as it gets, short of extremely expensive scaling algorithms implemented in software, which I may or may not attempt.

A supercard user had this problem a few pages ago and it seemed to be an issue with vram management. I suspect the file chooser may be running invisibly. Can you try blindly selecting a rom?

Ok tried the unstable version with fullscreen support, I like it. The only thing that didnt work for me was that it doesnt display time nor FPS (using 3DS XL) and the reboot to launcher option takes me to the power down screen. It would be awesome if the time could be displayed in big digits on either screen. But everything else works like a charm. Love the colorized GB games :D

I've noticed an issue on my SCDS2 where any file I/O write operations either take a long time (writing the settings ini takes 10-20 seconds) or the entire emulator just freezes (saving savestates in GBC games always freeze).
