There are no other tutorials on this so i wanted to make one for those who want to make them
Step 1: Install Gimp Here
Step 2: Import your Image
Step 3: Under the "Image" Tab, click "Scale Image" and make sure the dimensions are 256 x 192
Step 4: Make sure the Game window is 162 x 146, so this will take some editing skills
Step 5: Export your Image as BMP
Step 6: Under "Advanced Options" Click the setting "X1 R5 G5 B5" and Export
That's about it. I used ZeroFalcons DMG-Red border as a template for my SGB Border I posted, so credit to them.
I hope this can finally clear up some confusion about custom borders in gameyob.
