The Loughborough Student Union Computer Society are in a competition to win a great prize - all they have to do is get loads of youtube views to win! Winning would mean so much to us as we'd be able to really invest into the future of our LAN parties.

To celebrate getting to the final and to encourage views they've put together their own contest and are giving away a £50 steam voucher to one lucky winner! All you have to do is watch the youtube video and answer a super simple question about it!

Not sure if typo or 1337 sp34k

Pretty simple contest. The video is only 1:29 and the question is really easy to answer. Great prize too.

A bit of work having to log into youtube and twitter and such, but got all four entries in. That's a tidy sum of Steam cash for a raffle win, so I'll just go ahead and hope for the best.

As soon as I saw "Loughborough", I immediately realised Little was here. :O

There was once another guy from Loughborough. It was kinda freaky actually. Costello told me that a competition winner came from Loughborough and I was like oh that's cool. Then I went to work (at Game, because I'm so cool like that), and the new guy had started. We started talking about the NDS and the whole piracy issue came up and I was like OMG your the guy from Gbatemp who won the tshirt! He was - and he was MEGA freaked out, haha. So co-incidence. He then offered away the t-shirt on GBAtemp because it was too big for him, was meant to send it to SpikeyNDS but never did, I think maybe because of the postage cost to America. Though, it turned out he was actually just a really dodgy guy. He got fired from Game, because he was fraudulently stealing loyalty points from customers. He was incredibly dumb because he did it in the most traceable way possible. Essentially going into customer's accounts, changing their address to his own and getting a new card sent to his address and redeeming the points. So completely traceable. He then started working in a shitty crap computer store. I should probably tell Spikey all of this, it'd probably make him happy that he didn't turn out to well, Spikey really wanted that Tshirt.

Entered the contest for the Steam voucher, posted here for the like.

So torn and confused.

On one hand, I really want to not give you the like, in some kind of troll attempt. On the other hand, I really do like your post.

Spikey kinda went nuts and fell out with everyone, as I recall. All because of that t-shirt.

And to think my only other link to you is an incredibly vague knowledge of a sister of a friend of mine.

I thought ESSA was ESEA for a second there. But anyway I watched it and entered. What do you do at your LAN parties anyway, the only LAN party (if you can even call it that) I've been to was playing Terraria over LAN at my friends house...

The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc

These are the same type of gamers that spend $2,000 on a GPU when a $600 GPU gives nearly the same outcome which is what the market looks at for them to do spend more on unneeded bs
