It won't because the wii u pro is built entirely different.

you don't need to mount a phone to the Wii U pro controller to use it as a game controller, just sync it with your Wii U.

Ain't working. Wii U Pro only syncs with the Wii U if mounted to a smartphone first.

It would allow you to make a bracket to put your phone on the controller.
