You can't just "code" the eon ticket. they need to come from streetpass. If you have a gateway there is a save file in another thread that you can set to streetpass the eon ticket to another copy of the game. need another 3ds running to do it.

I was under the impression that it was a key item.

Eon ticket is a key item.

Problem is, without the correct "data flags" set in game,
the ticket itself is useless.

Even our hackers at ProjectPokemon.org
(which Datel gives credits to for their save wiki, wondercards etc.) were unable to emulate the flags.

Only the original few that got the serial code get's the wondercard,
and the wondercard is probably different, as creating wondercards also does not emulate the correct Eon Ticket.

Hence for now, stick to streetpassing.

And anyone with the Eon Ticket official wondercard/serial code should donate it for a better cause.

Who knows, other events such as Pokemon distribution may be by streetpass.

It'll be good if we have the original, to reverse engineer the mechanics..

Eon Ticket and Eon Flute can be obtained via Gateway Pkhex or Cyber Gadget Save Editor which now supports OR/AS.

I immediately used the Eon Flute right after hopping out of the truck to confirm what another poster said on a Japanese forum. Not just that but if you get the coordinates from a data miner or someone with an Eon Ticket that can check where they are in game on that island you can teleport yourself there using Cyber Gadget + Pkhex or Gateway + Pkhex, or take a step further and mod yourself there.

Power saves may not have these options any time soon, but they could give out the Eon Flute and Soul Dew you should be able to trade over using X/Y's all items code.

You do not need Latias/Latios in your party, just the Eon Flute and you'll summon the pokemon to you. You don't even have to own a Latias/Latios for this to work.

plz Datel, let us use PKHeX to full potential so I don't have to waste time soft resetting to get my shiny legends.

can't you just use powersave's make shiny code?

Transfer your legendary using pokebank, make shiny in x/y, then transfer back.

Also, pkhex doesn't let you encounter them shiny.

and chances are they won't allow rampant hacking like pkhex does.

they probably received enough emails in the past year,
and they have yet to change their mind.

powersaves make shiny code changes TID, which is fucking retarded, no thank you. I'm want to use PKHeX to save time, not for hacks beyond that. I've requested that they make a new shiny code which properly changes PID but no luck as of yet. I think I'll try again now that ORAS is out. I've transferred all my legendaries from Pokebank, but I want to get a Shiny Reshiram and Zekrom, which is only possible in ORAS.

I just want to see a complete national dex code or all key items code. a proper shinification code that changes the shiny value of the pokemon to match your tsv would be nice too.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
