Why is it different between the disc version and the eshop version? This probably means it won't work and yes, it matters which "loading method" you use for memory addresses.

Okay I can't get the Buy Level address anymore since all my characters are already maxed before the update, and I don't have the money to afford the new DLC.
But all the rest of the codes have been updated and compiled in JGecko's code list.
Hyrule Warriors NTSC-U v1.10
Found timer address for Super Luigi u but can't figure out how to send it back to game. The address is 3E81F674. Any help?
What if it doesn't change the timer to a different number. If you update the value in the address and see a change in the game to the new value, then either just keep repoking that address with the value to refresh the timer or make a code in JGecko to freeze the value to the address.
The codes don't do anything for me either. I'm trying to find them with what I have on loadiineWhat a relief.
Seriously, thank you very much for fixing it. I was tearing my hair a lot!
By the way, someone has tested Super Mario 3D World in Loadiine? I cannot make it work in TCPGecko. Or maybe someone has codes for JGecko U? The ones posted in first page dont work on Loadiine
I found out what was wrong with my cheat code! Apparently, there have been useful pointers in the 10000000 range. So now I am able to find the proper pointer values for my cheat codes.Would anyone here have experience with making pointer codes for Super Mario 3D World?
I have been making some cheat codes for Super Mario 3D World, but I have been having some problems finding proper pointers. When I try to find pointers, using Univeral Pointer Search, with certain levels combined, like Really Rolling Hills and Super Bell Hill, I can never find pointers with those dumps (I get zero results), but when I try it on some other level, I was able to come up with a code that works on most levels, but I can't find a code that can universally work anywhere.
It is driving me crazy since I don't know what I should do. I know my pointer is not good, but I am having trouble finding better pointers. I do a range dump from 30000000 - 40000000. Is the range too small to find a proper pointer?
Also, since I am having trouble finding a proper universal cheat code, I decided to release the code in their current state. These codes, for the most part, seem to work pretty well on most levels. However, these codes definitely will not work on any level that makes use of the double cherry. It also does not work on Really Rolling Hills and Sprawling Savanna for some reason. And then there are levels like Towering Sunshine Seaside where you need to go to either side of the island for the code to activate. (Note: all codes were made with the US disk version of Super Mario 3D World)
Anyway Enjoy,

The sounds that hurt your ears seem to only happen when you pick certain power-ups in games. Also, Fire Balls and the Cat statue don't appear and also don't have their effect unless you have the power costume on the character.

Here is one of them, if you would like to try:
It still suffers from the same side effects that the previous cheat code had, but now it works anywhere, even Double Cherry levels (It not flawless, but it does work)! However, I have an idea of what to do with the code in order to make it better.Power-up Modifier (Player 1) [CuriousTommy]

Both of these codes are different than the one I found:
However, I don't use loadiine, so my code will probably not work there either.
What if it doesn't change the timer to a different number.
When I add the address to watch list i can see the value changing.

Did you try any range above 0x40000000?Hello,
It appears I am having a bit of trouble creating cheat codes using both JGecko U and Gecko dNet (pygecko?). I am currently attempting to modify my HP in Pokken Tournament within Loadiine. Connecting is no problem. Within the Search Tab, I set the Memory Range to 10, the Data Type to 32 bit, and I begin, as per the instructions, by setting the start to 10000000 and the end to 15000000. I then enter my HP value in Hex into the value text box (ie. 0000010E) and click search. After waiting 10 or so minutes, when the search finishes, I then return to the game, get attacked once to change the HP value, then enter the new value in Hex, then click refine. The problem is after hitting refine once, there is NEVER any remaining potential codes. It always claims nothing found.
I then rinse and repeat with the start value set to 15000000 and end value to 30000000. Same deal - Search once, it finds many codes. Refine search, nothing. Then again with start value of 30000000 and end value of 40000000. What am I doing wrong?
Here's my digging around on 3D World for now, can't really do much with pointer searching yet.
All these codes are for the NTSC-U region.
1,000 Lives - Digital version (Sets lives to Crown00)
00020000 378DFE04
000003E8 00000000
100 Coins - Digital Version (Grab a coin to gain a life instantly)

00000064 00000000
Current time left - Digital version
00020000 378DFEA0
0000ABAF 00000000
ABAF is the ingame timer equivalent for 999. The value changes with every frame passed.
Total time spent - Digital version (Clear time at the end of the level)
00020000 378DFEA4
00000000 00000000
Yeah, I noticed that my values are different compared to the one that @Kurayami (I have a US version of Super Mario 3D World on disk).Did you ensure they work in other levels and on other wii us too?
this game is very odd. a lot of codes i have hacked don't work for others even they have their system region is the same as mine

I doubt the select version differs to the original one but I won't be surprised if that's the case (the game has no updates that could be on the disc).Yeah, I noticed that my values are different compared to the one that @Kurayami (I have a US version of Super Mario 3D World on disk).

I am pretty sure that the values work everywhere in my game (least the time one does). I wonder if the Nintendo Select Version is different from the normal game?
Yes, the effects of the codes lasted throughout the play session of worlds 1 and 2 while I was testing. Haven't tested on another wii u yet since my friend doesn't have a copy of the game, and mine is digital. Though the last time I borrowed his wii u to test my Hyrule Warrior codes between the digital version and his disc version, the codes remained the same and all of them worked without needing a new offset, so I'm still clueless as to what exactly is causing the differences in RAM addresses.
It's definately the game.
Maybe each of you can go into any level, ensure the addresses are still valid and upload a RAM dump so one of us 3 could do a pointer search.
Also please do this using the .elf version of TCPGecko (the one to be installed through HBL).
No duty to dump and upload the RAM file. But it could get us a step forward
from 0000000 -40000000Okay, I can get to work on that later tonight when I get back home. Just to make sure, you'd only need the dump of the address range affected (37800000), or the entire thing?
