Heres some videos of DaMans build for you guys to check out.


DaMans build is better then the Chinese build since it doesnt have as many graphic problems. Like for instance the dust when Mario runs in SM3DLand is messed up in the chinese build but is perfect in DaMans build.
Also im pretty sure the flames are messed up in the 2nd battle in Fire Emblem Awakening but is perfect in DaMans build.

But DaMan i have to ask you if the is anything you can do about the messed up lines in Pokemon?.
JayRayFox told me how to fix it myself but i dont have a clue about how to do what he instructed.
If i passed what he said on to you could you look into it please?.

I don't understand why you compared with each other's build, as long as it is CITRA then who care about that since it is free of charge right?Of course we get both kind of citra(unofficial+chinese) right?Seems like someone discourage the use of chinese build since it had some defects,how about unofficial build,it don't have any bug at all?........... No Matter Official build , Unofficial Build & Chinese build ,it eventually be 1 part of the complete version 1 CITRA right?And most important,I don't think in current state of Citra is the right time to tell the other whose build is better since it still update regularly which come along with bug,i mean:"Do we compare 2 different products while it isn't yet fully processing? I think as a citra user we shouldn't do that before the Citra official V1 release and yet we must be neutral & unbiased to each other build.

Old topic but hopefully Citra Dev will work on it......I hope next update of citra from unofficial/chinese/whosoever can fix "Stucking" in X/Y , i don't understand why and how someone still can keep on blinking the eyes while emulator in "freeze condition" after get starters ........And then WHY once we received something it hang the citra?...Of course i know it is bug and citra still in development & we need to wait.............,but i want at least an answer on HOW & Which button to click whenever these annoying error happen?

Also in the latest Chinese build id still get random crash's in Pokemon Star Sapphire. In DaMans build ive had none. So if DaMans build plays all the same games as the Chinese build just as fast and doesnt have the same broken effects as the chinese build then yes it would be wise to let users know this.
After all this discussion and thread is to talk about such un official builds. When all this stuff gets merged into the master then we will be talking in the official thread and not here.

I think you don't know among the official citra team,there are some chinese had contribute to their recent cro++ build,the Build compiled by DaMan including the cro++ branch re-write by wwylele since it getting the resource from Github,for your information,wwylele always coorperate and getting advice from gdmk if your you take a look at chinese website,the unofficial DaMan build you use is not solely from Official citra team,it means,DaMan Cro build = Official team 's unofficial build + unofficial chinese team's build,of course it will be Daman build better since it have mixed both parties's element,remember,chinese build only completed by chinese with little and no help from official citra,that is why chinese build updated in fast pace as compare to unofficial build.Of course unofficial build have been updated frequently in recent,but that is mostly "cleaning-up" cro++ branches related job

In DaMans build ive had none " ,this only happen on those who don't know how or don't have guide to use chinese build will encounter such problem,if we always keep an eye on what had been discussed in this thread,all of us know how to avoid random crash or freeze or blackscreen by PKhex ,what i said come with proof,they had beat ORAS with chinese build without random crash ,maybe DaMan build able to achieve that but that will be another case , you are getting wrong information regarding the result of testing ORAS in chinese build

Unfortunately, none of these build can run X & Y well atm, i am doubt Sun & Moon will be playable in future but i hope at least it will not stuck at choosing starter & obtaining item , wouldn't you all think that pokemon x / y error is the biggest trouble ever seen by cro++ dev

09/07 chinese build is the fastest build for now right?i saw at chinese website it reach 60 fps in ORAS battle with high end pc

HEY , i hope this is correct,the chinese had mention in their website,they said 09/07 chinese build got 1 button is not function by the time it download,which is the " X " button in Citra 3ds ,so,what you need to do is make sure your change your " X " 3ds button on your keyboard to any other button............

For example:
The chinese guy's pc setting are look like that:

Keyboard A = X button in 3ds/citra
Keyboard S = Y button in 3ds/citra
Keyboard Z = A button in 3ds/citra
Keyboard X = B button in 3ds/citra

The chinese complain its Metal Max 4 game menu are not showed up whenever he click ''A'' in keyboard since this game menu will come out if we click X button in 3ds,so,he change "A" into any other keyboard button in pc,then finally the game menu show in citra .........so,by coincidence,all chinese build getting from 1 source,i think his problem happen to those who using chinese build as well in this thread

But,my question is ,why in pokemon X & Y after receiving starter the game not crash,no freeze ,with someone keep blinking eyes,we press any button but no respond,i think only reason is the same as MM4 problem as happen to the chinese guy,the keypad in that 09/07 chinese build have defects since it had been uploaded by gdmk . Anyway,just my hypothesis ,nothing wrong if what i say is somehow ridiculous,i just share whatever information i got......

If you are saying that control problem might be the case with Poke X/Y, then you are wrong.
in every pokemon game when you talk to npc there will be an arrow like down below.

But in Poke X/Y when you receive starter/items, the arrow dialogue is not there. like image below.

In my perspective that the game just stop there rather than freeze. for some odd reason, it doesnt register to the character and stay there not crash. but its my thought so im not so sure.

Use PKhex change your save file game language from english to Korean/Japanese/German before you exit Petalburg after battling Team Aqua/Magma ,use that language until you beat Gym 1,then when you are on the way heading to Dewford City(2nd gym),you may use Pkhex to change your languages into english to continue DewFord city story.....

If the game audio keep goes on but the arrow not appear in citra then we can do nothing since in 3ds the arrow is there and we can press it to pass that part ,and this "arrow" problem is not clearly mention by @wwylele in github,he just mention it freeze after choosing starter in pokemon x/y as the result of testing.......maybe they apply new cro++ to fix crash/freeze but not to solve the "Arrow" or " Hang" problem,and this problem is most probably the error that they miss out and remain unsolved in all recent unoffcial & chinese build .......so,next update hopefully fixed it

I can compile now, he needs @wwylele too, but I think hes still in progress of cleanup and fixing.

It's just learning how to merge builds from using Git from github, Can't get my head around anyone know more ?, pm if could say how.

Sorry, but that's not true. I failed to cooperate with gdmk and basically lost touch with gdmk.
And again, I never get involved in the Chinese build, nor know what's going on there. gdmk uses my code sometimes (which I don't mind) but we don't work together.

And again, I never get involved in the Chinese build, nor know what's going on there. gdmk uses my code sometimes (which I don't mind) but we don't work together.
