It would be a server you can carry with you in your pockets while traveling. And just like the bigger version of web servers, the portable servers can be used to host a website or multiple websites.
Have you considered any of the many Raspberry Pi models?

Unfortunately I don't have the time and the money to learn how to create a server. I can install and run server OS's and software but creating the hardware in order to make everything work is not something I have time and money for.

these are great, some support micro sd, so you can have lots of space.
http://www.gl-inet.com/
but i mean, it's not going to be powerful like you may want...
but very portable, you can use a powerbank etc.
it runs unix/open-wrt so you can do what you want.
it depends how intensive the tasks you need it to do are.

I plan on hosting a website with some pictures, perhaps some audio, and contact information.

What sort of budget are you planning on?

One thousand dollars or less.

The compute stick is not worthy of being any kind of server with those specs. But the nuc might just do it for me.

I would love to have a tiny and quite x86-64 server. My pi is great and all, but it can not run Windows programs at all. :-/

I like that but I don't understand why they don't let the buyer choose the power cable/power outlet before buying the starter kit.
Look here.

You may wanna check out something like the LattePanda - it has its ... quirks but can run Windows 10 quite comfortably, but should warn you support from the devs is lacking but for me that's half the fun !

I would prefer to run Debian and Wine though. :-P

Edit:
Can not really afford that. >.>

    You using the Smart camera extention, its nice, centers you on screen but with little lag so feels better than just Center player on screen. You can add/ subject lag amount also.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, i dont use it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @K3Nv2, gonna make a jumping sprite
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    You can add platform character behavior to any sprite, just disable the default controls for it, and make it jump/move in your code. The rectangle behavior is cool too for enemies.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, how is it cool?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, and i meant jumping sprite for the player
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    It makes it move around constantly in different directions, like a enemy moving back n forth from one side to other
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @BigOnYa, and i dont think the rectangular movement behavior works for platform games
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Yea it does. And you can add platform character behavior to your own charcter, and it will have move and jump already setup for you, space bar is jump, arrows move
    BigOnYa @ BigOnYa: Yea it does. And you can add platform character behavior to your own charcter, and it will have...
