SAFEST way? backup your save then uninstall both moon, sun, and the respective tickets, THEN try going online with another game. I didn't do any of that like an idiot (yolo) and was able to get online in MK7 just fine.
yesterday i enter into gts for see pokemons, no more, and today i dont get ban, I test online in mk7 and eshop with sun and moon installed and no problem, all online work good

Ok so I've restored my ability to play online BUT I'm still banned from the NN.

Here's what I did -

1) dumped certs from one 3DS and injected into the banned one
2) dumped LocalFriendCodeSeed_B from one 3DS and injected into the banned one
3) injected a blank nnidsave.bin into the banned 3DS
4) injected a modified secureinfo into the banned 3DS

Thank you so much

I've been waiting for hours for someone to confirm if this works. NN can stay banned forever for all I care. I just want to play my games online.

Do you happen to know if you can transfer the certs from a 2ds to a N3DS? I dont know if O3ds/2ds have a different format or something than N3DS.

Also will this still let you go online on the 3ds you dumped the certs from? Any risk of getting banned for having 2 systems connecting with the same certs at the same time?

Being one of the people who got banned, I'd just like to say a few words.

I realize what happened is my own fault, and I have no one to blame but me. Not Nintendo, not GameFreak, nobody.
I knew that the moment I modified my console, stuff like this could happen and I took the risk. Also, I knew that playing an unreleased game has risks.

The reason why I took the plunge on the 3DS and not, say, my Vita or PS3/4, is because when it comes down to it, Nintendo's online services aren't as important to me as other services like PSN or Steam or XBL. I mostly play SP or local multiplayer. But I realize that isn't the case for a lot of people.

That said, it is a shame that this happened, especially since I have spend several hundreds of dollars on Nintendo games, and several 3DS units and other consoles.
Here's to hoping that it's a temporary ban, and this can be cleared up with the passage of time. I wish the best of luck to all affected by this.

I did not play online. But I got into the eshop and tried to update the game. I thought there was an update available. Later I saw, that this was because of that wrong version number in the cia.

I hope that I did not get banned for this stupid stuff. -,-
I will see it later today.

N3DS XL 11.2 with A9LH

Played the whole time with Wi-Fi activated. Entered only once to Festival Plaza online.

Apparently no ban (can enter Eshop and Alpha Sapphire online features).

They do, you broke the terms of service.

Any way you could provide proof?

See that's where you enter the unknown for me. I took a risk and tried the cert transfer but I don't wanna press my luck further at this time

i played offline (maybe 2-3 hours) and havent been banned but i wasnt on the latest update at the time of playing :P.
Same, i was still on 11.1 when playing Sun and Moon. Its just that iam at work right now so i cant check if i got banned or not since some people are claiming to be banned from just installing the game.

well, here goes the argument that the.cia games are safe.
Maybe starting from now they can check every cia game installed and compare it to NNID purchases.
Doubt they did that. Some people don't even have a NNID.

Oh wow, it does work, I'm positive majority here could care less about Eshop bans, etc. Anyway, a few others should try and confirm this as well, may just be luck.

Damn, I was hoping I could get a little more confirmation before I potentially screw up my 3ds even further. I guess its worth a shot, but I'm going to feel terrible if the N3DS breaks. I'll test it out on my other banned 3ds since its an old XL

Just need to go through the downgrade and cfw process for this 2ds first :(

Guess I'm one of the few people who aren't banned yet. I hardly go online with my games because my internet connection isn't that good.

Plus, I didn't even plan to go online until the release. Because there's no way Nintendo would open an online feature for everyone before the game releases unless it's a trap (which it worked).

Went to the eShop. Safe.
Re-Download a game. Safe.
Playing MK7, and AC:NL online. Safe.

Still not touching online for Moon.
