Hello all,

I made a small tool called WudMerge wich will do the following :

Get a wudump structure from SD/USB/HD and merge the files together to a wud. No need to copy first all your files from SD to pc just load direct from your dumped media. After this wud2app will be started and a USB-Install will be made from the wud. Also the directory created will have the gametitle and region displayed. Next version will also offer to copy the generated USB-Install back to SD:\install and/or create a WUX from it automatic with WudCompress all unattended.

Extract the archive and copy your wud2app.exe to this program dir because it's needed and not mine. Also this is based on wudump 1.3, so make sure to use at least this version or the common.key will not be dumped and that's needed.

Usage
  • Start the program and select with the windows file requester the source wud (game_part1.wud)
  • Select with the path requester the destination on HD where you want the wud to be created.
  • Now the wud will be merged and when succesfull , the USB-Install creation with wud2app will begin, so you just have to wait and can do other stuff in the mean time.

Todo
  • optional automatic copy back to SD:\install after processing USB-Install (eventually asking or setting with .ini to remove wudump SD files first to make space for it)
  • optional automatic WUX creation from WUD
  • Nice Windows GUI
  • User suggested options

Current Version : 1.0.5

Now also MD5 checks are done (on the fly!) for single parts and final WUD against the wudump hash text files!

Thanx WiiuGold, but would one actually stil want a Loadiine tool in time of USB/Rednand/CFW installs? And how about a U-Indexer which runs through NUS install dirs/WUDS and do the same?

just letting you know, I've updated wud2app to work directly with the .wud parts, no need to merge them anymore; just check the wudump thread first post.
Thanks. That has been made easier, I will try it out.

GBAtemp should be legally obligated to ban them, as its against the law to collect information from users under 13 because of COPPA. :tpi:

VR had the chance to integrate with existing games and tech but VR companies said "NO, I WANT MY SHIT TO BE STANDALONE AND MY GAMES EXCLUSIVE TO FACEBOOK"

Back when Oculus Rift was still starting out and being demoed around, they modded existing games to use it as a 360° immersive screen thing and that was AMAZING.

The tech isn't there for affordable power enough VR headsets at a good market value yet sadly, oculus had a good idea but didn't have enough funds for marketing iirc

But now it's "can I use my VR set with my racing games, that would be neat?" "ONLY IF YOU USE OUR DILDOSTICK CONTROLLERS AND RUN THE GAME ON OUR ANDROID-UNDERPOWERED BRICK"

The tech to have quality VR goggles at an affordable price is here, but every set has to have 4 additional controllers and be standalone.

These are the same type of gamers that spend $2,000 on a GPU when a $600 GPU gives nearly the same outcome which is what the market looks at for them to do spend more on unneeded bs

If we're talking AAA titles a vr headset would be priced at nearly the same cost as a midrange gaming pc maybe even double

I think they should bring back the shutter glasses for VR put 120Hz screen in for 60FPS and even a basic phone these days can pull that off
